1. Social Welfare Program
AlpineTrav Treks and Expeditions also works for social welfare programs as a part of social responsibility. Some tourists from Germany have already joined in this program and helped the people in Mirge village of Dolakha. Mirge village is located at the foothill of Gaurishanker Himal, inhabited by the Tamangs, Brahmins & Chhetri. Gaurishankar is a mountain in the Himalayas, the name comes from the Hindu goddess Gauri, a manifestation of Durga, and her Consort Shankar, denoting the sacred regard to which it is afforded it by the people of Tibet and Nepal. The Buddhist Sherpas call the mountain Jomo Tseringma. The Nepal Standard Time (GMT+05:45) is based on the meridian of this mountain peak. Although they belong to different castes and religion they have harmonious relationship as they have high religious tolerance. Interested tourists from any country can join in this program and contribute in educating the under privileged, orphans, and the victims of disaster or in any construction works for public benefit.
2. Local People Interaction Program
AlpineTrav Treks and Expeditions manages interaction program with the local people in different villages so that tourists, students group and researchers can get opportunity to learn and experience the lifestyle of the Nepali people.
3. Local school and Children Home Visit
AlpineTrav Treks and Expeditions provides opportunity to visit local schools and children homes if the tourists are interested to visit.
