Everest Region for Trekking Season

1. Winter : (December-January-February)

Day temperature: (-10) ◦C- 8◦C
Night temperature(-7) ◦C- (-15) ◦C

The winter comes with the strong cold winds, “Sireto” and an occasional snowfall. The snowfall decorates the majestic peaks and some parts of the trails too. Winter offers excellent crowd-free trials. One can greatly enjoy the sunny day but a chilly night can be memorable.  The temperature rises and falls drastically within a day. Thus, one must be prepared for the fluctuating weather in winter.

2. Spring : (February-March-May)

Day  temperature: 25◦C
Night  temperature:(-)15◦C

The most beautiful part of the year, the Spring season adorns Nepal as a beautiful bride. The Rhododendrons bloom to fullest into red, white, and more. The fragrance of the wildflowers and herbs spreads magic. Calm and clear weather gifts breathtaking mountain views. You really don’t have to worry about the slippery paths or unexpected downpours.

3. Summer : (June-July-August)

Max temperature:  20◦C -25◦C
Min temperature: (-3) ◦C –(-5) ◦C

The sunny and warm Summer days have hot days and colder nights. You can always get a majestic view of the Himalayas and also witness the dry barren pastureland on the way. Occasional rainfall coincides with the summertime in Nepal.  The dry vegetation of the region surprises the visitors in summer here.

4. Autumn : (September-October-November)

Day  temperature: 12◦C-20◦C
Night temperature: 3◦C- (-7)◦C

The rainfall of Nepal greatly depends on the monsoon wind from the Bay of Bengal. Thus, rainfall occurs in dry winter in the western part and the eastern part has summer rainfall as the monsoon.  The trails are less crowded but the lower trails might face rainfall. The upper region though has lesser rainfall and spectacular views can be captured, the weather at night can be freaking cold.
The two Autumn and Spring are the most loved seasons for the Everest  Base region. But, the Everest region always has an open trail for some refreshing mountain air and a wonderful  Himalayan Scenario promising the magical experience any time of the year.
