14 Days Everest Base Camp Trek is specially designed by our expert team with years of experience in this adventure field. Altitude, adaptability, good campsite, trails are the main factors to consider while planning the trip and how our clients will enjoy the trek from start to finish. Our Everest Base Camp 14 Day Trek is perfect for those trekkers who have limited time and want to safely trek to the base camp of the world’s highest mountain. So; this trip follows the same approach as the standard all-inclusive Everest Base Camp trek and includes two major rest and acclimatization days at Namche Bazar and Dingboche proceeding to Everest Base Camp.

Starting point of our trek from Kathmandu to beautiful hilly airport Lukla by flight to our actual trek starts, following the Dudhkoshi River we reach Namche Bazaar and spend two nights acclimatising before heading to the altitude. Visit Tengboche Monastery and trek to Dingboche, where we will have a second rest and acclimatization day before we head to Everest Base Camp. Therefore AlpineTrav Treks & Expeditions provide a high staffing ratio to the client to ensure safety first and efficiently meet the needs of participants. We will stay in local tea houses/lodges with all meals provided during the trekking period. If you need to make any changes to our itinerary to suit your needs, please contact us and we will tailor the itinerary accordingly. However; The trail is relatively easier following good paths and yak trails but due to the increasing altitude, it’s graded challenging. Please be prepared to walk for 6-7 hrs every day on average carrying your backpack, which will consist of your valuable items, water, extra fleece, snacks, etc.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport [1,350m/4,430ft] and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding [2,600m/8,531ft], 3-4 hours
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar [3,440m/11,286ft], 5-6 hours
Day 4: Rest and acclimatization day in Namche, 3-4 hours
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Deboche [3,720m/12,205ft], 5-6 hours
Day 6: Trek from Deboche to Dingboche [4,412m/14,475ft], 5-6 hours
Day 7: Rest day acclimatization and trek to Nagaratsanga Peak [5,083m/16,625ft], 4-5 hours
Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche [4,910m/16,109ft], 5-6 hours
Day 9: Trek to E.B.C [5,364m/17,559ft] and return to Gorkshep [5,140m/16,864ft], 6-7 hours
Day 10: Hike up to Kalapathar [5,545m/18,193ft] and trek to Pheriche, 8-9 hours
Day 11: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar [3,440m/11,286ft], 6-7 hours
Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla [2,800m/9187ft], 6-7 hours
Day 13: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu [1,350m/4,430ft]

  • Personal clothing and trekking gear.
  • Travel insurance has to cover emergency high-altitude rescue and evacuation along with medical coverage.
  • Tips, gifts, souvenirs for involved trekking staff.
  • Additional costs due to delays caused by circumstances outside company control like landslides, weather conditions, itinerary modifications due to safety concerns, illness, change of government policies, strikes, etc.
  • All the costs and expenses, which are not listed in "What is included" above will be counted as excludes.
