Chitwan National Park is probably the most popular and developed park in Nepal. It has a long history of preservation. A densely forested park with a rich tapestry of flora and fauna, CNP is one of the must-visit sites for anyone who wants to enjoy the natural beauty of wildlife. Three night and four day packages offer you the opportunity to see many rare species of birds and animals.
Your adventure begins after breakfast. In the morning, you will enjoy bird watching and canoeing where you can spot rare gharials and alligator crocodiles. After lunch, you will go on a jungle safari. You can ride elephants or jeeps in the wilderness. During a wilderness safari you can visit magnificent foxes, fishing cats, desert cats, panther felines, giant and small Indian civets, Asian palm civets, and crab-eating mongooses, among many other animals. In the evening one can also enjoy the Tharu cultural program. Next morning, you will visit the elephant breeding center.
Fly or drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Hotel representative will welcome you at bus station or Bharatpur airport. After a welcome drink, you will be briefed on your schedule and program. After lunch, you will have a walking tour of the village, followed by a sunset view from the riverbank, a Tharu culture program, and dinner.
