Once you arrive in Kathmandu, AlpineTrav Treks & Expeditions will arrange to pick you up from the airport. You will then be transferred to the hotel. You will have some time to relax at the hotel. In the evening, you will attend a welcome dinner hosted by AlpineTrav Treks & Expeditions. After breakfast, you will begin your tour by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepali art and architecture at its finest. This architecture is typical of the Malla Dynasty that ruled Nepal from the 12th to the 18th centuries. Swyambunath Temple is popularly known as the Monkey Temple among foreigners due to the large number of monkeys that inhabit the area. Pashupatinath Temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River and is one of the major temples of Lord Shiva. Boudhnath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia, built on the ancient trade route to Tibet.

The day begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a magnificent lake city in Nepal. This overland journey takes you through the Tribhuvan Highway. You will be surrounded by flowing streams, dense forests, green hills, small settlements and lush grasslands. Enjoy the countryside. Also; on the way, you will stop at the Trishuli River for an exciting rafting experience. You will raft on the fast-flowing river water in various grades of rapids with all the fun and excitement. After breakfast you will start a short trek from Pokhara to Australian Camp. After a short, steep climb in the morning, you will be rewarded with breathtaking mountain views, green hills and beautiful grasslands. Set your alarm; Today, you will wake up early to witness the best view of sunrise from Australian Camp. You will get breathtaking views of Annapurna range. Finally; After breakfast, you will start your trek to Kande village. The path from Australian Camp to Kande is very short and easy. You will walk through forest paths. After reaching Kande, you will take a short drive back to Pokhara. Later, you can explore the lakeside area of ​​Pokhara city. If you wish, you can enjoy a boat ride on the tranquil Phewa Lake in the evening. The nightlife in Pokhara is also worth experiencing. Stay overnight in Pokhara.

Early in the morning you will go to Sarangkot hill for an exciting paragliding flight over Pokhara Valley. It takes 20 minutes to reach Sarangkot from Pokhara, where you can do paragliding. Sarangkot is a convenient place from where you can see the three highest mountains in the world, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu, which are about 8000 meters high. From Sarangkot, we offer paragliding flights. After a 30-minute flight you will land on the banks of Phewa Lake, after which we will continue our tour of the city landmarks. From the landing point you will be transferred to the hotel, after some rest with lunch, we will set out on a tour. Like; Davis Fall is a unique waterfall that flows directly into a narrow and deep channel with no end. Shiva Cave is located near Davis Fall and houses a temple dedicated to the primary Hindu deity, Lord Shiva. Similarly; We also visit the famous International Mountain Museum (IMM) which exhibits, documents and presents the history of the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world and especially in the Himalayas. At the end of our day tour we also visit the Tibetan refugee camp and see how the refugees keep themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicrafts. After breakfast, you will bid farewell to the beautiful northern skyline of Pokhara and head towards Chitwan Sauraha city, nestled at the foot of the Churiya mountain range, famous for housing Nepal’s first national park, Chitwan National Park (CFR), which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon reaching Chitwan National park Sauraha, you will undertake a jungle/nature trek depending on the national park. During the nature trek, you will enjoy the company of a wide variety of flora and fauna and spend some time bird watching. In the evening, there will be a presentation on the wide range of flora and fauna of CFR. Overnight at Chitwan National Park.

Jungle safari, Jeep Safari, Tharu cultural programme:
Today is a day to explore Chitwan National Park. Today you will excite animal lovers inside the national park. Early in the morning, you will ride on the back of an elephant and go on a jungle safari through the dense grasslands and observe wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, you will visit the elephant enclosure and enjoy bathing the elephants. In the afternoon, you can go to the jungle by jeep or then take a boat ride on the Rapti River. During the safari, you will go deep into the jungle and see deer, the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, among other wild animals. If you are lucky, you may also see the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. While canoeing, you can get a close look at gharials and crocodiles as well as freshwater dolphins, otters and a variety of water birds. Or, you can also go bird watching or nature trekking and get up close to the diverse flora and fauna found in the park.

So learn more about the ethnic “Tharu” community that lives in the area. See how they coexist with the wildlife around their home. A lunch break inside the park will give you a sweet break from the jungle walk. Try bird watching; it’s exciting, you’ll see a variety of species. You can also venture out and try some authentic flavors of ethnic cuisine in Chitwan; it will be a break from your regular main meals. Early in the morning, you will be busy birding as Chitwan National Park is home to a variety of resident and migratory birds. You will then have breakfast and drive towards Kathmandu. Your journey in and around Chitwan will be through the plains of the Terai and will gradually take a winding road as you approach Kathmandu. On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful hilly terrain and small houses. You will reach Kathmandu in the evening. To celebrate the successful completion of your journey, you will have a farewell dinner in the evening.
