Outline Itinerary (Annapurna Circuit Mountain Bike Tour)
Day01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
On your arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative of AlpineTrav Treks at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) but reassure about our representative with a display board at the arrival gate.
Day 02 : Stay in Kathmandu for Preparing Mountain Bike and sightseeing official procedure, overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 m), overnight at lodge.
Day 04 : Ride from Besisahar to Tal (1,700 m). Distance: 37.4 km, overnight at lodge.
Day 05 : Ride from Tal to Chame (2,670 m). Distance: 22.6 km, overnight at lodge.
Day 06 : Ride from Chame to Manang (3,540 m). Distance: 29.7 km overnight at lodge.
Day 07 : Acclimatization in Manang and Visit to Gangapurna Lake and Glacier.
Day 08 : Ride from Manang to Thorong Phedi (4,450 m). Distance: 19 km, overnight at lodge.
Day 09 : Ride from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,760 m), Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). Distance: 22 km, overnight at lodge.
Day 10 : Ride from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,590 m), overnight at lodge.
Day 11 : Domestic flight from Jomsom to pokhara, overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Back to Kathmandu (1350m.), overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Free day for personal activities or recreations at Kathmandu.
Day 14 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
Today, our airport representative will drop you to the airport and then you will depart from Nepal.

Day 1
DAY 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.

On your arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative of AlpineTrav Treks at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) but reassure about our representative with a display board at the arrival gate.

Day 2
Day 02 : Stay in Kathmandu for Preparing Mountain Bike and sightseeing official procedure, overnight at hotel.

After having breakfast in the morning, our sightseeing trip will begin. The Swayambhunath (the Monkey temple), Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square are the main sightseeing attractions in Kathmandu valley which are rich in art and architecture. Later in the afternoon, we will have a final preparations and short briefing for the Mountain Bike tour. We will stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 3
Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 m), overnight at lodge.

After we have our breakfast, today we will drive to Bensisahar taking 6 to 7 hours. On your arrival at Dumre, you will feel the beginning of your Mountain Bike tour. You will be driving to the Marsyangdi river valley then move to Besisahar Overnight at hotel.

Day 4
Day 04 : Ride from Besisahar to Tal (1,700 m). Distance: 37.4 km, overnight at lodge.

The beginning trail follows the course of the Marshyangdi River along the right side of the valley. As you ascend uphill, you gain about 1,000 meters in elevation. Today is the perfect prelude to more thrilling riding in the days to follow. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 5
Day 05 : Ride from Tal to Chame (2,670 m). Distance: 22.6 km, overnight at lodge.

Leaving Tal, there is a Mani wall (dry stone wall inlaid with Buddhist prayer slates) in the middle of the path. These should always be passed on the left going clockwise. After going through green corn, barley and potato fields, the valley becomes narrow again. From Tal to Danaque it will involve a large percent of push / carry with a very steep hard climb out of Danaque. From here though it becomes more ride-able with closer views of snow-capped peaks and a wide flowing trail to the finish. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 6
Day 06 : Ride from Chame to Manang (3,540 m). Distance: 29.7 km overnight at lodge.

Ascend through pine forests as the trail opens into a fertile agriculture valley. The dirt trail leads you through villages and settlements and you get the opportunity to meet with friendly locals and snotty children. From Pisang (3,230 m), the route follows through a wide valley that opens up ahead of us. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 7
Day 07 : Acclimatization in Manang and Visit to Gangapurna Lake and Glacier.

You won’t ride further today. Just explore around the Himalayan town to acclimatize to high altitude. Ascending rapidly could have potentially fatal consequences. There are many short excursions from Manang. One of them is a visit to Gangapurna Lake. It will take about half an hour to reach this beautiful lake. We will also go for a short hike to one of the hills which will take around an hour to reach. You can witness the majestic Mt. Gangapurna standing tall and also the beautiful lake beneath from the top of the hill. Rest of the time can be spent in acclimatizing and enjoying the environment around. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 8
Day 08 : Ride from Manang to Thorong Phedi (4,450 m). Distance: 19 km, overnight at lodge.

Leave Manang and then start climbing towards Yak Kharka (4,010 m). Continue to ascend to higher altitude. Pedaling becomes a very hard work due to elevation. So, go slowly. Enjoy the scenery and culture of the region. It is important to remain physically and mentally prepared for the highest ascent of the next day. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 9
Day 09 : Ride from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,760 m), Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). Distance: 22 km, overnight at lodge.

Wake up very early for the 4-am start which is necessary to cross Thorong La Pass. The trail can get windy later making it difficult to cross the pass. It will take approximately 4 hours to reach the pass (approx 3 km). You will have to carry your bike to get there. The climb is demanding, the effects of altitude can be felt more and more as you ascend but you will be awe-struck by the spectacular views of the landscape. Once at the top, rest, enjoy the feeling of getting to the highest point of Annapurna Circuit and be ready for the amazing downhill ride. After 45 minutes of technical riding, you will be in Muktinath (3,760 m) where you can rest your exhausted body. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10
Day 10 : Ride from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,590 m), overnight at lodge.

Exit the pilgrimage town of Muktinath and ride towards Dhangladanda through a less-used trail. From the viewpoint, you will be riding on impressive single tracks all the way down to the river bed in Lupra Valley. Then, paddle to Jomsom overnight at hotel.

Day 11
Day 11 : Domestic flight from Jomsom to pokhara, overnight at hotel.

We fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, taking around 20 minutes. The major attractions of Pokhara are natural as well as cultural sites such as lakes, temples of Hindus and Buddhist, caves, mountain views. You can view the north region across the hill, Phewa lake to thesnow peaks of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri ranges. Overnight at Lodge in Pokhara.

Day 12
Day 12 : Back to Kathmandu (1350m.), overnight at hotel.

Leaving behind the wonderful countryside morning, we travel for 6 hours we return back to Kathmandu. We can either take a vehicle for a drive or fly back from the beautiful city Pokhara. On arrival at Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.

Day 13
Day 13 : Free day for personal activities or recreations at Kathmandu.

We can go around Kathmandu valley, if some important places have been missed according to your choices. After the hectic schedules of tour, today you can either go for shopping or have a day rest before departing from Nepal.

Day 14
Day 14 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
