Exploring the southern skirts of the Annapurna Himalayas, the Mardi Himal Trek makes its way through isolated trails at the base of Mardi Himal, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal trek on uninhabited trails. This makes it perfect for people who want to explore in solitude. The Mardi Himal Trek navigates through the Annapurna Conservation to provide beautiful trekking experience.
After landing at Kathmandu International Airport, the Mardi Himal trek has officially started. This is our all-inclusive trek that takes you close to the Pokhara trails. The drive is full of magnificent views over many hills. After a short drive to Kande, the trek begins and goes to Deurali. The trek through the green forest follows the Modi River and leads to a rest camp. As the treks are far away from human settlements, you will be completely absorbed by the Annapurna Conservation Area. A short break at the rest camp is followed by a walk through waterfalls, streams and lovely woodlands. With the Himalayas head into the Emerald Hills, the trek takes you to the high camp. Views of Annapurna Dakshin (7219 m), Machhapuchhre (6997 m) and Hiuchuli (6441 m) greet the rest of the point. The hike to the top view point is a beautiful trail that leads to a beautiful city point. Mountain views from Mardi Himal (5553 m) to Machhapuchhre (6997 m) and Annapurna I (8091 m) give you a taste of Himalayan glory. Afterwards, you retrace your steps to high camp and settle in for the day. When you take a different path and go to Siding Village, a clan awaits. Enjoying the Gurung culture, we get down from Lumre and go to Pokhara.

Day 06: Lower Camp to High Camp (3,600m) 4/5 hrs
Day 07: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m) and return to High Camp

Day 09: Drive from Siding to Pokhara (827m) and explore the Pokhara

This cost includes permit, guide, porter, airfare, transport, accommodation and food. But the cost varies according to the size of the group, customize your trek: this is a general itinerary, which can always be “tailormade” individually. Trek packages can be redesigned or redeveloped according to your taste.

WHEN IS THE BEST SEASON TO TREK IN ANNAPURNA REGION?
Mid-September to November (Autumn) and March to May (Spring) are the best seasons for trekking in Annapurna region.
June to August (monsoon) are the rainy months but this time is perfect for keen botanists and the skies are sometimes clear. During the trek, it offers magnificent spectacles of rhododendron flowers blooming in March, April and May.
It is recommended to trek in winter (December-February). Temperatures are cool in the mornings but not unbearable and it warms up during day hikes and most days have clear skies with great views.
