The Annapurna Mohare Danda trek provides a unique and close sight into village life. Similarly, we have a close view to the magnificent peaks of the Annapurnas, Machhapuchhre and Dhauligiri, in the beautiful Annapurna region. In this trek, Poon Hill is visible from just below the ridges of Mohare Danda. We Trek through pristine and unspoiled area where we will meet the villagers; local farmers, yak herders and village people in the communities. In this village, you are heartily welome and you receive the gratitude. The villagers treat you as a family member rather than tourist. Through the trek you will stay in community lodges. In some of the villages, as an alternative to the community lodges, you will stay with local families in their home.This greatly explores and we experience the lifestyles of the people and their cultures and traditions closely. Local villagers shows cultural programs and insight to the village life along with the offer of accommodation and fooding. Outline Itinerary (Annapurna Mohare Danda Trek)
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
Day 02 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara 6-7 hours, overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor (3 hrs Drive) , Trek from Galeshwar to Bas Kharka (1520m/3 hrs).
Day 05 : Trek from Bas Kharka to Danda Kateri (2300m, 5hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.
Day 06 : Trek from Danda Kateri to Nangi (2300m, 5hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.
Day 07 : Trek from Nangi to Mohara Hill (3300m, 7 hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.
Day 08 : Trek from Mohara Hill to Tikot (2250m, 7hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.
Day 09: Trek from Tikot to Baisari & drive back to Pokhara via Beni (5hrs drive)
Day 10 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 6-7 hrs, overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.

Day 1
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our representative, transfer to hotel.

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by the representative of AlpineTrav Treks and Expeditions and you will be shifted to your hotel.

Day 2
Day 02 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.

Today, the sightseeing trip will start in the morning after breakfast. The major sightseeing attractions are; Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambhunath (the Monkey temple), Boudhanath; Kathmandu durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3
Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara 6-7 hours, overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and head to Pokhara by vehicle. After reaching you will taken to hotel and have a leisure Evening. You can visit around the lakeside.

Day 4
Day 04 : Drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor (3 hrs Drive) , Trek from Galeshwar to Bas Kharka (1520m/3 hrs).

Starting from Pokhara, you are driven to Galeshwor via beni where you will start the trek. Galeshwor is famous for the temple of Lord Shiva.Heading up to Bas Kharka, you pass scattered farmhouses, climbing through the forest and then orange groves as you approach this attractive village. You will have time to explore this Magar village, maybe visit the school and healthpost, and in season enjoy the sweet oranges that grow on the hillsides here.

Day 5
Day 05 : Trek from Bas Kharka to Danda Kateri (2300m, 5hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.

You head up on a half day trek through the forest to Danda Kateri and can enjoy the beautiful Annapurna and Dhauligiri ranges, both among the tallest peaks in the world. Overlooking the valleys, this is a get place to meet local people and interact with them.

Day 6
Day 06 : Trek from Danda Kateri to Nangi (2300m, 5hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.

You head up through the dense pine and Rhododendron forest from Danda Kateri to Nagi. On the way, if you are lucky, you might spot wild deer and varieties of birds and butterflies along the way.

Day 7
Day 07 : Trek from Nangi to Mohara Hill (3300m, 7 hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.

Today you climb through forest, with stunning views of the mountains. Upon the top of Mohare Hill, you can see the Himalayas stretching as far as the eye can see, with close-up views of Macchupucchre (Fish Tail Mountain) and Dhaulagiri. Surrounded by forest, don’t be surprised to meet yaks grazing nearby. There is no village here, but here is the highest wireless internet relay station in Nepal, providing internet to the remote villages for schools and healthposts that use tele-medicine, linking up with hospitals in Kathmandu to provide better healthcare in the villages.

Day 8
Day 08 : Trek from Mohara Hill to Tikot (2250m, 7hrs), ovewrnight at Lodge.

A fantastic ridge walk, with marvellous views in every direction, you descend through forest to the secluded lodge at Danda Karka. The mountains here seem so close, you feel could reach out and touch them. (2,800m; 2 hours).Continuing down, you pass through changing scenery as you go down to Tikot, a village of narrow lanes and beautiful houses. Here you visit the school and experience the fascinating Mayar dance tradition (the men dress as women, while the women sing traditional songs). Staying with families in their home, you get a close-up glimpse of village life in this fascinating and bustling village. Sit and watch the women carrying huge mountains of grass to feed their buffalo; see the children clutching their books on their way to school; see the villagers working in their fields. (2,300m; 5-6 hours).

Day 9
Day 09 : Trek from Tikot to Baisari & drive back to Pokhara via Beni (5hrs drive)

Day 10
Day 10 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 6-7 hrs, overnight at hotel.

Leaving behind the magnificent countryside early in the morning and travelling for 6-7 hours we return back to Kathmandu. We can either take a vehicle for a drive back from the beautiful city Pokhara. On arrival at Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.

Day 11
Day 11 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.

This is your last day, our airport representative of AlpineTrav Treks will drop you to the airport and you will depart from Nepal.
