Gurung community also called Tamu, are an ethnic group from different parts of Nepal. They believe that until the 15th century they were ruled by a Gurung king. the Gurung people began serving the British in Army regiments. Most of these people are known as “Tamu” those residing in district of Kaski, Lamjung, Baglung, Gorkha and Dhading. Because of their bravery during World War II under British Army they are well known around the globe. These people have their own language, culture and traditions. To understand such rich ethnic group of people in Nepal.

Day 03 : Drive to Thunsikot, overnight at Lodge.
Day 04 : Trek to Pas Gaun, overnight at Lodge.

Day 06 : Trek to Ghale Gaun, overnight at Lodge.

Day 1
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by the representative of AlpineTrav Treks and Expeditions and you will be shifted to your hotel.

Day 2
Day 02 : Drive to Pokhara, overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we leave Kathmandu and drive for 6 hours we travel to Pokhara by tourist bus, or car depending upon the number in your group. You will be walking through exciting panorama of river and landscape. On the other hand, you might take a flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu which takes half an hour. Then, you will get into the hotel and you relax in the afternoon on your own. You can visit around lakeside region or you can go for boating at Fewa Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3
Day 03 : Drive to Thunsikot, overnight at Lodge.

After having breakfast, to start our trek we drive to Bijayapur Khola. We then begin walking for around an hour through flat paddy fields and go across the river. Now, the trail starts to go up to Kalikasthan. After reaching Kalikasthan, we drive to Thunsikot which is the final point for today. We have a Lodge for overnight.

Day 4
Day 04 : Trek to Pas Gaon, overnight at Lodge.

Today is one of the challenging days. After having breakfast we trek to Pasgaun all along the straight and flat steep track. Pasgaun is a beautiful village in Lamjung District. This village has preserved its long-established experience in the form of culture, food and architecture. Overnight we have a Lodge.

Day 5
Day 05 : Trek to Bhujung, overnight at Lodge.

After having our breakfast we will move further to Khumeru Danda (2200m.) all along the dense forest. Then, you will descend down to Midim river. You can get pleasure from spotting the small hydro power at Midim Khola. From here, we need to go up for around 30 minute to reach Bhujung. Bhujung holds the Gurung population with more than 400 family and they are proud of their rich cultural heritage.

Day 6
Day 06 : Trek to Ghale Gaon, overnight at Lodge.

Today we trek to Ghale Gaun and we go around well-known Ghale and Gurung long-established village site. Also, we will have a visit to famous view point from where various stunning mountain views can be witnessed like Lamjung Himal ranges, Annapurna ranges and Manaslu mountain ranges. Lodge in Ghanapokhara.

Day 7
Day 07 : Trek to Ghanapokhara and explore surrounding, overnight at Lodge.

Today we have a rest day. And we explore around Ghan Pokhara. It is a large Gurung traditional village where we will be accompanied by panoramic views of gigantic peaks. Lodge for overnight in Ghanapokhari.

Day 8
Day 08 : Trek to Khudi, overnight at Lodge.

Taking around 4 to 5 hours we move from Ghanapokhara to Khudi. This day you will see beautiful waterfall and cave. Also you can visit construction spot of Khudi Hydro Electricity Project. Overnight you will have Lodge in Khudi.

Day 9
Day 09 : Drive back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.

After having breakfast we move for Kathmandu (186km.). The views of town, river, village, Marsyangdi and Trishuli River, rice terrace, gigantic mountains will be seen on the way.

Day 10
Day 10 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.

Our airport representative will shift you to the airport from the hotel for your way back to home country.

The trip can be extend based on your holiday duration in Nepal. Special Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Mountain Flight might be your best choice before or after the trip. As well as following programs also can be extend as additional trips from Kathmandu.
