Annapurna Circuit Trek is the longest and relatively one of the challenging treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Opened in 1977, the Annapurna Circuit Trek has become the most popular trekking trail in Nepal. Every year hundreds of tourists visit this place to see the irresistible beauty of nature as well as several snow-capped mountains. Spectacular view of different mountain peaks, magnificent lakes, gorges, waterfalls, enchanting historical monasteries, famous sacred Muktinath temple, natural hot spring, fascinating flora and fauna, and the World’s widest Throng La (5416m.) Pass is the major exciting part of the Annapurna circuit trek. This famous trek offers a great opportunity to learn the Tibetan way of life which still strongly runs in the Upper Mustang area.

Annapurna Circuit Trekking trail is full of adventures and thrills. You will pass by lush green pastures, dense forests of rhododendron, pine, oak, airy desert terrain, fine villages, crossing difficult passes along enjoying Himalayan mountain views. During 14-days Annapurna Circuit Trek, you will pass by monasteries, gompas, main walls, chortens, temples, and prayer flags that will enrich your journey spiritually as well. You will come to Muktinath Temple after crossing one of the highest passes of the world “Throng -La” pass. which is a sacred pilgrimage site of Hindus. 4. We strongly discourage the use of single-use plastic bottles such as mineral water on all our trips. Carrying a hot water bottle is highly recommended.
5. Daily wake-up calls will be between 6.00 am to 7.00 am while on the trek. The wake-up time and breakfast time will be decided the night before during the briefing time.
6. The timetable for each day will entirely depend on your walking duration for that particular day.
7. Tea will be served in your Room as a wake-up call. After a hearty breakfast, we set off on the day’s walk.
8. Before breakfast, you are required to pack your duffel bag as it will be loaded by the porter while you are having your breakfast.

1. Trekking can be challenging and exhausting. So you might need some fitness training and experience for some tough trials.
2. Trekking in the Himalayas always takes us to challenge altitudes and rocky routes. You could ask for proper rest time and acclimatization to sustain your strength. Mountains can never be achieved in a day.
3. We always provide the details in our itinerary. However certain training like running, skipping, and other workouts.

The gears listed below are required for this trek. We encourage you to get all equipment listed below and kindly ensure you check and try every piece of equipment. You can also buy or hire the same in Kathmandu as they are available in the many trekking shops.

Warm Hat and Bandana, Scarf, Baseball cap, Thermal Balaclava, Sunglasses with UV protection, Headlight with spare batteries

Upper Body
Long-sleeved shirts, T-shirts, Baselayers, Warm Jacket, Sweater, Pullover, Waterproof Gore-Tex, Down Jacket with hood (800m). fill Primaloft or light Jacket.

Lower Body
Thermal, Inner, wears, Baselayers, Undergarments, Waterproof Gore-Tex Pant, Trekking Trousers, Pants, Down, or Primaloft Pant. Warm socks (4 pair thin socks and 4 pair thick socks), Trekking Boots (Preferably full to protect, support your ankle), Camp Shoes, Gaiters, Down shoes (Optional), Flip-flop.

Before departing on your trek, make sure you have enough Nepalese currency to purchase meals and drinks during the trek – it’s always good to carry them in the smaller denominations where possible, there are no ATMs on the mountains


1. Your accommodation on the trek will be on simple mountain lodges run by the local people with basic and shared facilities. Trekking in the area does not need tremendous logistics in accommodation as there are many clean and friendly Lodges along the trail. Rooms are basic, normally just a bed with a pillow and blankets.
2. Blankets are generally provided by the teahouse but we will provide a warm sleeping bag to everyone. Bathrooms are mostly shared and toilets are squat type in most places.
3. We will arrange for you and your group to stay in local lodges daily. Please remember that some of them are very basic and a sense of adventure is.

Food (Meals)

We will provide three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) during the trek. The menus in the teahouses are varied, ranging from traditional Nepalese (Dal Bhat) Momo, Chowmein, to pizza and apple pie. Despite the fact that meat is available in the teahouses, we are against eating it on the trek.

The meat has frequently been conveyed in the warmth from Lower elevations for a few days before arriving at the teahouses and can cause stomach upsets or disease.

About Nepal Visa

All foreign nationals except Indian Nationals are required to arrange a visa in order to enter Nepal. A Nepalese Visa can be obtained either prior to your arrival at a Nepalese embassy abroad or on arrival time in Kathmandu at the airport. But nationals from Afghanistan, Iraq, Cameroon, Ghana, Somalia, Swaziland, Palestine, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Liberia cannot secure the Nepalese Visa upon arrival. The Visa can be also taken at entry points at Nepalese borders. For Nepalese Visa, it requires your passport with at least six months validity, a recent digital photo (size: 1.5″ x 1.5″), and the following fees either in USD dollars cash or the equivalent local currency. Cost for visa fee you can check to here!
