Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu Airport [1350m/4,455ft] and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and trek to Kartike [523m/1,715ft], 3-4 hours
Day 3: Trek from Kartike to Gothey [1,128m/3,700ft], 5-6 hours
Day 4: Trek from Gothey to Salpa Phedi [1,680m/5,511ft], 5-6 hours
Day 5: Trek from Salpa Phedi to Gurase Bhanjyang [2,500m/8,202ft], 6-7 hours
Day 6: Trek from Gurase Bhanjyang to Sanam [2,850m/9,350ft], 5-6 hours
Day 7: Trek from Sanam to Bung [1,900m/6,233ft],5-6 hours
Day 8: Trek from Bung to Gai Kharka [2,300m/7,545ft], 5-6 hours
Day 9: Trek from Gai Kharka to Panggom [2,850m/9,350ft], 5-6 hours
Day 10: Trek from Panggom to Paiya [2,830m/9,284ft], 4-5 hours
Day 11: Trek from Paiya to Lukla [2,860m/9,383ft], 6-7 hours
Day 12: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu [1350m/4,455ft]

  • Travel insurance has to cover emergency high-altitude rescue and evacuation along with medical coverage.
