Chulu West peak is situated in a small valley that lies to the north of Manang, away from the key track to the Thorung La. Chulu West is the Mera Peak alternative, difficulty in reaching the summit but progress can be slow depending on snow conditions. Above base camp some steep loose rock requires some fixing of ropes. It has sometimes tricky rock section to negotiate before the actual summit. Chulu West (6419m.), the Chulu West Peak bestows an exciting peak mountaineering option for those trekkers who would love to go to experience adventure in the Annapurna Region. While mountaineering the peak, we will be rewarded by splendid views of peaks like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and other massive peaks.
Chulu West Peak Climbing begins from Chamje after driving for 8-9 hours from Kathmandu and from Chamje the way goes up slowly to Dharapani. Continuing our trekking we reach to Chame, follow towards Pisang and finally we move to Manang Valley. From Manang valley the path moves north to the Chulu West Base camp. The major highlights of the trek are passing through the Marsyangdi valley which will mesmerize you with the views of Manaslu, Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, IV and Tilicho peak. We walk towards Thorang Pass and we catch the way to Muktinath; a sacred place of salvation, they believe that bathing in the 108 water spouts here guarantees salvation after death. The Hindu god, Brahma, is said to have lit the eternal flames that burn at Muktinath. The Area Is a Perfect place to find fossilized ammonites, known locally as Shaligram, which are found all along the upper reaches of Kali Gandaki. Gurungs, Magars, Thakalis and Lopa are the inhabitants of this region who have typical lifestyle.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative
Day 02 : Stay in Kathmandu for briefing
Day 03 : Drive to Chamje, (1,960m.) 8-9 hours
Day 04 : Trek to Dharapani, (1,900m.) 5-6 hours
Day 05 : Trek to Chame, (2,675m.) 5-6 hours
Day 06 : Trek to Pisang, (3,300m.) 4-5 hours
Day 07 : Trek to Manang, (3,540m.) 4 hours
Day 08 : Acclimatization at Manang
Day 09 : Trek to Chulu West Base Camp, (4,700m.) 5-6 hours
Day 10 : Rest at Chulu West Base Camp, (4,700m.)
Day 11 : Summit Chulu West (6,419m.) and back to Base Camp
Day 12 : Trek to Thorung High Camp, overnight at lodge.
Day 13 : Trek to Muktinath after crossing Thorung La pass (5,416m.)
Day 14 : Domestic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara
Day 15 : Drive back to Kathmandu, 6-7 hours
Day 16 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination
