Today, after breakfast in Kathmandu, we will follow the Prithvi Highway along the Trishuli River to the west, looking at the central Himalayan homeland Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre mountains. This road offers a panoramic view of rural Nepal with green hills, rivers, villages and snow-capped mountains in the background. We will part ways with the highway in Dumre and will choose the exit of the Beshishahr branch and go to Jagat where we will spend the night in a lodge.

Today our first day of Annapurna Circuit Trek, Early in the morning, we will lower down from Jagat village and follow the winding path along Marsyangdi River to the forest. A brief walk through sprawling forest will take us to Chamje village (1430m) from where we will cross the river and continue walking along its eastern edge. The trail takes brief ascend to the big village of Tal (1675m). Being clustered with tea houses and lodges, it will be fine idea to take our lunch at Tal. Enjoy the lunch in a serene atmosphere with mesmerizing natural views of surrounding valleys at Tal and take gradual ascend to Karte village. We need to cross the river at several points and move past the valley and pretty tiny villages to arrive at Dharapani.

Today we will reach the Masryangdi River through Abbal Path from Dharapani to the west. We will follow the river uphill to Manang Valley. We will be blessed with breathtaking views of Annapurna II (7937m) and Annapurna IV. Trade with Tibetans is the main occupation of the locals in this region. Following an old trade route, we will climb up to Dhankyu (2290m) through the forest edge of oak and maple. We will reach Latemrang village (2360m) by going further along the rocky road. Crossing the wooded hills, we will reach Koto (2590m). The descent from Kotho takes us to Chame (2670m) which is the administrative headquarters of the region. The view of Chame’s Lamjung Himal, Annapurna 2nd Himal and Annapurna 4th Himal will welcome you. and stay overnight in Chame.

Leaving Chame, we will cross over to the northern side of the river from where the trail stretches uphill through apple orchards to Bhratang village (2840m). This is marked as an old Khampa community. There will be a change in terrain from this point. We will follow the rock-strewn path through the tapered valley that is covered in thickets. Exiting from the forest, we will meet the river which we will cross over a suspension bridge that is located somewhere above 3040m from sea level. We will get the first view of magnificent Paungda Danda which is the 1500 m wall of rock that stems up from the river. We will traverse the ridge decorated with prayer flags and stone cairns to arrive at Pisang. We will visit local gompa and stay overnight in a lodge.

From Pisang, we continue along the northern bank of the upper river to Manang via Ghyaru (3,670m) and Nagwal (3,660m). It’s going to be a long and slow climb as we pass the 3600m elevation mark today for part of our acclimatization. The climb is rewarding with breathtaking views of Annapurna 2, Annapurna 4, Annapurna 3 and Gangapurna surrounding mountains. We descend into the valley before heading towards the village of Hongde (3325m). A small airstrip is located in this village. Walking through the Mani wall, we reach Mungali from where we have to cross the river. Walking along the northern shore, we will reach Braga (3475 m). The lifestyle of this village is heavily influenced by the neighboring Tibetans. Braga also boasts of housing the largest Gompa in the district. The gompa preserves a collection of Tibetan thanksgivings dating back more than 500 years. A short walk from Braga takes us to the village of Manang, made up of around 500 houses, gem walls and chortens. Chortens are supposed to ward off evil spirits.

Today we go to the Ice Lake to reach an altitude of 4,600 meters as it will help us in our journey to Thorung La Pass (5,416 meters). It takes 3/4 hour climbing time to reach the top and after eating our packed lunch at the top we descend. We have more than 95% success rate in Annapurna circuit trek. In this passage.

After having a rest for a day in Manang, today we make our way to the Tilicho Lake, located on the west of Manang all the way down to the river. After coming across the Khangsar Khola, we arrive at Khangsar and move to a traditional Tibetan village explore

We depart from Khangsar passing a Gompa and our path moves ahead towards a high ridge. One trail maintains the elevation, crossing the inclines to the narrow valley; the next one ascends towards the ridge. The first one is the older path, and is more challenging; the later is a new trail that offers a comparatively easy trek. Following the new path, we reach a high ridge, and move down to a side gorge of the major valley and on the other side, is the Tilicho Base Camp (4,200 m)

Today in order to avoid the wind, we start early in the morning. From Tilicho Base camp to the Tilicho Lake, it takes around 3-4 hours. Tilicho Lake is a freezing desolate place in the afternoon and recognized as highest lake of the earth. Then, we will go back to Tilicho Base Camp.

On this day, we move back to standard Annapurna Circuit trail again. We can spot the view of the Annapurna, Tilicho peak, Gangapurna and more during the trek. The track relaxingly winds up presenting views and passing through lands filled with juniper bushes, the only existing vegetation around this area, and then you will reach Yak-Kharka.

From Yak Kharka, we start our trek with slow pace to reach Phedi which means 'foot of the hill'. We still have same splendid view of peaks and landscapes.
After an hour's trek, we arrive at Ledar and go on to mount along the east shore of the Jorsang Khola, then descend and cross the river on a bridge. We stop for superb view and tea; we go across a narrow path, uneven incline before reaching to Thorung Phedi. Here; you can decide to either continue to High Camp or stay in Phedi depending on the conditions.

This is the best and most challenging day of the entire trip. We start our walk early in the morning. Today, our track turns out to be the steepest reach at high camp. We will be viewing sunrise and scenes of the mountains. We keep on walking towards the top taking 3 to 4 hrs to reach the peak of the Throng La (5416 meter). Here, we can see fascinating scenery and then move downwards to Mustang and then to the Kaligandaki valley. Finally, we arrive at Muktinath after a 7 to 8 hrs long walk.

Today we our plan visit Muktinath temple in the morning and move down to the Kaligandaki river valley. We follow a calm trail for two hours till we reach the large city of Jomsom and headquarter of the Mustang region with a small runway just over the Kaligandaki River.

We take a drive to Pokhara through deepest canyon of the world lying between two gigantic mountain range of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri with many snow-topped peaks.

Passing all the way through the striking countryside early in the morning and travelling for 6 hours we return back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel.

This is the last day of our trip. So we will transfer your departure flight homebound or to the airport for another destination. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next adventure in Nepal. Namaste!
