Dhampus Peak (6012m) is located to North-east of the gigantic Dhaulagiri massif. The peak is easy to climb. It does not require any technical climbing skills. This peak is the perfect spot from where you can get views of the awe-inspiring altitude variation between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. You will get great close-up views of the Tukuche peak, Dhaulagiri I (8163m), Nilgiri (6940m), Sita Chuchura (6611m), Tukche Peak (6920m), Thorong Peak (6484m), Tilicho peak (7134m), Yakawa Kan (6482m), Mukut Himal (6639m), Puth Hiunchuli (7246m), Tangu Peak (6197m), Tsarste (6347m) and Hongde peak (6556m) during this expedition. Beautiful hamlets around the valley of Kaligandaki are explored. The route to Dhampus takes you from Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus. Then the trekking period begins, you will pass through several villages including: Tato Pani (2500m/8530ft), Marpha (2670m/8759ft). The caravan route goes through several traditional villages, rhododendron forests and crosses numerous passes with stunning views of the Himalaya.

Dhampus peak climbing route goes through the very attractive natural environment. Neatly terraced rice fields, colorful Rhododendron forest , artistic waterfalls, pristine Rivers and striking glimpse of the numerous beautiful white capped peaks always wins your heart. Moreover, route of Thorang peak goes through the villages of Different ethnic people so, during this journey you will get chance to known the unique culture and festivals of different ethnic people such as Gurung, Magar, Thakali and Buddhist The best season to go for this climbing expedition is Spring (Mar-May) and Autumn (mid Sep to Mid Nov). Day 1
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.

On your arrival, our airport representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. You will have a leisure day

Day 2
Day 02 : Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure and sightseeing, overnight at hotel.

After having breakfast in the morning, optionally we can go for sightseeing tour. The Swayambhunath (the Monkey temple), Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath; Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square are the main sightseeing attractions in Kathmandu valley which are rich in art and architecture. Or we will have a final preparations, official procedure and short briefing for the trek.

Day 3
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 6-7 hrs, overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and head to Pokhara by flight or by vehicle. After reaching you will taken to hotel and have a leisure afternoon. You can visit around the lakeside or go for boating at Fewa Lake.

Day 4
Day 04: Drive to Tatopani 5 hrs, overnight at hotel.

The distance between Pokhara and Tatopani is 197 km. Tatopani (Natural hot spring) trekking offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs, Magars and Thakali community of people. Dense rhododendrons forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys are the major attractions of the place. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5
Day 05: Trek to Ghansa 6 hrs, overnight at hotel.

From Tatopani, we will go behind the road to reach Ghasa. We will then walk via the stunning edge of Kaligandaki river and traverse the river via the suspension bridge which will take us to the striking place of Ghansa (2000m). Overnight at hotel.

Day 6
Day 06: Trek to Tukuche 5/30 hrs, overnight at hotel.

From Ghansa, we will stroll along narrow kali Gandaki River valley to arrive at Khobang village. We will head straight way to the Tukuche. Overnight at tented camp in Tukuche.

Day 7
Day 07: Ascent to first camp of Dhampus peak (4000m), 4/30 hrs, at tented camp.

From Tukuche, we will ascend and we will reach at the base camp of Dhampus peak. While walking to the beautiful area of Dhampus peak, we will reach at the height f 4000m above sea level. Then we will further ascend to set our first camp. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 8
Day 08: Ascent to second camp (4900m), 4 hrs.

Today, as soon as reach at an elevation of 4900m we will set our second camp before reaching the high camp. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 9
Day 09: Ascent to highest camp (5200m) 3/30 hrs.

climbing guide will teach you how to fixed the rope, how to blay the rope, how to ascend, how to descend etc. walk approximately 4-5 hours.

Day 10
Day 10: Summit day (6012m),

Early in the morning, today we will begin climbing to the summit of Dhampus peak and witness the views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 11
Day 11: Descent to second camp.

On this day after summating the peak we will return back to our second camp. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 12
Day 12: Trek down to Tukuche, 6-7 hrs, overnight at Lodge.

The track on the east shore moves up over a forested edge before returning back to the river. A series of impermanent bridges traverse the river. The west shore trail ascends to Sukung before sliding through jungles to the riverbank. We go on to follow the broad valley of the Kali Gandaki, passing all the way through Khobang and Tukuche. Overnight stay at Lodge in Tukuche.

Day 13
Day 13: Trek to Jomsom, 5-6 hrs, overnight at Lodge.

Tukuche is a pleasant village where contracted alleys and houses constructed around encircled quad provide some protection from the strong winds. After coming across stoned orchards, a stone gateway marks the entry to Marpha. Here, the local apple brandy is famous. As the track continues to Jomsom, the scenery becomes more and more arid and remarkable with its combination of browns and grey environment with the snow topped peaks of Nilgiri and Tilicho. The stiff winds start on to speed up on our way to Jomsom in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Lodge in Jomsom.

Day 14
Day 14: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, 32 minutes,overnight at hotel.

Taking about twenty minutes, we fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. The major fascinations of Pokhara are natural as well as cultural sites such as lakes, temples of Hindus and Buddhist, caves, mountain views. You can view the north region across the hill, Phewa Lake to the snow peaks of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri ranges. We set off from Pokhara and travel for 6 hours to return back to Kathmandu. Overnight at lodge in Kathmandu.

Day 15
Day 15: Drive Back to Kathmandu, 6-7 hrs, hotel.

Today, we can go around Kathmandu valley, if some important places have been missed according to your choices. After the hectic schedules of trek, today you can either go for shopping or have a day rest before departing from Nepal.

Day 16
Day 16: Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.

This is your final day, our airport representative will drop you to the airport and you will depart from Nepal.
