Dolkha Kalinchowk Trek - 8 Days

Dolakha Kalinchowk Trek is less crowded and non touristic trekking trail of Rolwaling trekking region, located in the Eastern part of Nepal.


Kalinchowk is a non-touristic area that seems to be kept as a secret beauty, although many Nepali visit this amazing view point on the Himalayas. It is many times refered to as finding heaven, because of the stunning sights.
From Kathmandu we drive on the Ariko highway to Dolakha district where our trek starts at the mountain pass of Charikot. This trail is known for its astonishing highlight, the top of Kalinchowk at 3,852m. Getting there enables us to meet the lifestyle and culture of  Tamangs, Sherpas, Thami, Chettri and Brahmins. Reaching the top finally offers breathtaking panoramic views. we get to have close of Magnificient Mountains like Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar, Gurkarpo Ri, Longpogan, Bhairav takura, Mt Everest, the whole Annapurna range, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal. There is also a prominent temple of the Hindus called the Kali temple. Many kinds of Rhododendrons colorize this enchanting trek and we will see the Nepali national bird Pheasant (Danfe) on the way. On our way back to Kathmandu we stop at Dhulikhel where we will do a 3 days minitrekking to Nagarkot.

Day 00 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative
Day 01 : Kathmandu to Charikot (1,970m) Drive – Duration: 6 hrs
Day 02 : Trek to Kuri (3,550m) walk – Duration: 7 hrs
Day 03 : Trek to Kalinchowk (3,837m) walk – 1/30 hrs, and back to Kuri
Day o4 : Trek to Kharidhunga (2,540m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs
Day o5 : Kharidhunga to Dhulikhel (1,550m) Drive – Duration: 4 hrs
Day 06 : Trek to Nagarkot (2,175m) walk – Duration: 7 hrs
Day 07 : Trek to Chisapani (2,135m) walk – Duration: 5 hrs
Day 08 : Trek to Sundarijal walk – Duration: 3 hrs, and drive back to Kathmandu 1 hrs
Day 00 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination
