Dzongri trek in Sikkim is the most interesting and fabulous trek in the isolated area of Sikkim; sharing its border with Tibet to the North, Bhutan to the East, Nepal to the West and the State of West Bengal (India) to the South. Here, you get to witness a nature full environment with inner peace, joy and satisfaction along with the mixed cultures as this is the camping trek.  During the whole journey you can explore the virgin peaks, impressive Mt. Khangchendzonga (8,585m), the 3rd highest mountain in the world. Similarly, you get to discover some of the major famous peaks during this trek from the Dzongri View Points such as Mt. Kabru south (7,317m), Mt. Kabru north (7338m), Mt. Pandim (6,691m), Mt. Kabru Forked (6,108m), Mt. Rathong (6,679m), Mt. Kumbhakarna (Janoo 7,710m), Mt. Kokthang (6,147m), Mt. Goecha Peak (5.127m), and Mt. Frey Peak (5,830m),


Outline Itinerary of Dzongri Trek

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative
Day 02 : Kathmandu to Bhadrapur fly – Duration: 45 minutes and drive to Gangtok 4 hrs
Day 03 : Gangtok Sightseeing: After Breakfast, we visit the famous monastery of Rumtek and after Lunch Cottage Industry, Flower Show and the Enchey Monastery etc..
Day 04 : Gangtok to Yuksom (1760m) drive – Duration: 4 hrs
Day 05 : Yuksom to Bakhim (3005m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs
Day 06 : Bakhim to Phedang (3483m) walk – Duration: 5.5 hrs
Day 07 : Phedang to Dzongri (4020m) walk – Duration: 4.5 hrs
Day 08 : Rest day; Dzongri excursion around
Day 09 : Dzongri to Tshoka (3030m) walk – Duration: 5 hrs
Day 10 : Tshoka to Yuksom (1760m) walk – Duration: 6hrs
Day 11 : Yuksom to Bhadrapur drive – Duration: 3-4 hrs and fly to Kathmandu 45 minutes
Day 12 : Sightseeing in kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square world heritage sites by UNESCO
Day 13 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination

Dzongri-La Trek Cost Includes:

TREKKING GEAR LISTS:

Clothing: Warm jacket (down jacket, if possible) Water and windproof jacket alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella) Long sleeved synthetic fleece (windproof) material, if possible) Thermal underwear Hat or Cap, pair of gloves and scarf Comfortable hiking trousers (loose fitting) Shorts and trousers, or skirt 2 pairs of warm wool-blend socks, 2 pairs of running socks or liner socks, Proper hiking boots Running shoes and flip-flops 2-3 t-shirts, Underwear Light and expedition weight thermal bottom

During winter season, additional clothing’s may include:
The outer jacket should be warm, down jacket is highly recommended during winter season Bring a pair of warm winter trousers, in addition to the hiking trousers Bring at least one windproof layer of clothes, helping to reduce any chill factor influence. Snow gaiters.
