Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune, this great Himalayan massif is contained between the valley of the Budhi Gandaki in the west. We will spend the first night of our outdoor adventure right nearby the Trishuli River at Betrawati in the small town. Our Guide gives a short lesson of trekking on the first night. He explains the reasons behind choosing this area for trekking and the major attractions of the chooses areas. It also explains about the altitude sickness and all the beautiful spots from where you can see, which offers an excellent view of the massif Ganesh Himal (7406m), Langtang (7300m), Annapurna (8091m), Fishtail(6990m), Manaslu (8163m), Lamjung (6800m) and many more.
Ganesh Himal trekking starts from Salangkhu Khola, Trishuli valley and ends at Gorkha, the capital of King Prithavi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal. You drive from Kathmandu to Trishuli before trekking and from Gorkha Bazaar to Kathmandu after end of trekking. And, further, after reaching in Kathmandu also, we can capture the beautiful view of Ganesh Himal.
