Gaurishankar Hanumantey Trek is located to the west of Khumbu region, northeast of Kathmandu Nepal. Gaurishankar is also holy for the Hindus: Shankar, the name of the northem peak, is a, Designation for Shiva in their everyday spoken language. The southern summit, Gauri is a Synonym for the feminine manifestation of the god.
The Trek Starts from Kathmandu drive to Khawa Danda. We follow towards Hanumantey; and view out many fascinating mountains of Annapurna and Everest Regions. Then, continue towards Chyorten Camp view point from where we see the Numbur Cheese Circuit very closely. Then, we move down to Jiri. Jiri; called a Switzerland of Nepal. We settle over in Jiri in the Camp. It is a full of natural beauty place. We Can Experience the best of the best close experience of the beautiful nature, greenery; colourful rhododendrons, floras and faunas, and many other species are its major attraction. We can talk with the local residents who are very friendly. We can learn and know the fascinating culture, traditions, and lifestyles of that place. Then, finally on the next day, holding all the best memories of the trek, we return to Kathmandu via Araniko Highway.
