The family-friendly 9-day Ghandruk Village Trek is a scenic flight from Kathmandu for the short drive to Kimche via Pokhara, Nayapul. The trek started from Kimche and reaches Ghandruk, the largest Gurung village in the Annapurna region. The trail follows flag-stone steps that lead through a densely forested path surrounded by rhododendron, oak and pine trees. Ghandruk village trek passes through traditional villages like Chomrong, Landruk and Dhampus inhabited by Gurung community. This trek offers you and the whole family an opportunity to learn and understand the rich culture and traditions of the Gurung community living in the region. This trek will not only mesmerize you with the rich culture, it will also give you a panoramic view of the snow capped mountains like Annapurna Dakshin (7219m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and many other peaks. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu Airport [1,350m/4,430ft] and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara [827m/2,714ft], and explore
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Kimche 3 hours and trek to Ghandruk [2,012m/6,601ft], 1-2 hrs
Day 4: Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong [2178m/7146ft], 5-6 hours
Day 5: Trek from Chhomrong to Landruk [1565m/5,135ft], 5-6 hours
Day 6: Trek from Landruk to Dhampus [1694m/5558ft], 5-6 hours
Day 7: Trek from Dhampus to Phedi 3 hrs and drive to Pokhara 1 hour
Day 8: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu [1,350m/4,430ft], 6-7 hours
Day 9: International departure
