Gosaikunda Lauribina Pass Trek is a relatively shorter trek with an adventurous journey in the Langtang region of Nepal. That is comprised of pristine holy and spiritual lakes, challenging uphill and downhill climbs, and introduces the lifestyle and culture of nomadic and indigenous people. As well as, eye-dazzling panoramas of the Himalayas in the setting, gushing waterfalls, lavish bushes, and a lot more.
Gosaikunda Lauribina Pass Trek: Mostly, the trail is jam-packed with pilgrims visiting the divine Gosaikunda Lake, whether they are fellows of Hinduism or Buddhism. Whereas, with the discovery of high-altitude passes and ridges like Lauribinayak Pass (4,610m); the trail has become a top-notch choice for adventurer seekers as well.
Lauribinayak Pass Overview
Firstly, the Gosaikunda Lauribinayak pass trek begins with a scenic drive up to the traditional and culturally enriched Dhunche village. Moreover, various folkloric groups like Tamang, Sherpa, and Gurung reside here, mostly inspired by the Tibetan lifestyle and culture. Hence, the very beginning of this trek will take you apart from the hectic modern life. However; Walking ahead thru bushes and alongside the river, enjoying the picturesque sceneries of the cascading hills, snow-clad peaks, and the blooming of Rhododendron forest as well as several other species of vegetation; we will crawl our way to Chandan Bari/Shin Gompa before heading towards Gosaikunda. Then we follow the route toward the pilgrimage site of Gosaikunda, our main destination.
Likewise, there are several other trivial lakes namely Saraswati Kunda, Bhairav Kunda, and others nearby Gosaikunda. Whereas, there is a myth that Lord Shiva himself built Gosaikunda with his trident to get relief from the poison. The poison that he put into his throat to save the world from its severe consequences. Then we pass through Lauribina pass, Ghopte, Thadepati Pass, Kutumsang, and Chisapani for the next couple of days before driving back towards Kathmandu via Sundarijal.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu Airport [1,350m/4,430ft] and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche [2,030m/6,660ft], 6-7 hours
Day 3: Trek from Dhunche to Chandan Bari [3,330m/10,925ft], 5-6 hours
Day 4: Trek from Chandan Bari to Gosaikunda Lakes [4,380m/14,370ft], 6-7 hours
Day 5: Hike up to Surya Kunda peak and retract to Gosaikunda Lakes, 5-6 hours
Day 6: Trek to Ghopte [3,430m/11.253ft] via Lauribinayak Pass [4460m/14,632ft], 6-7 hours
Day 7: Trek from Gosaikunda Lakes to Kutumsang [2,470m/8,103ft] via Thadepati Pass [3490m/11,450ft], 6-7 hours
Day 8: Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani [2,165 m/7,103ft], 5-6 hours
Day 9: Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu, around 4 hours
