The Sikkim Green Lake Trek is the finest combination of Nature’s Beauty and Enthrallment. The trek takes you to the bosom of the Himalayas. It offers its devotees to experience all the possibilities in Sikkim. Green lake trek is the most picturesque one in comparison to all the other high altitudes treks in Sikkim. The journey  initiates from Kathmandu heading Bharatpur via flight. Crossing all the borders, within few hours we reach to Sikkim and our final trek heads from the capital city of Sikkim; Gangtok. Here, on the way, while ascending and descending in this trek, we pass through various scenic beauties like forest full of bloom rhododendron flowers, magnolia, daffodil, rare orchids, pine and oak trees and many more. Fresh water with stunning waterfalls can be experienced over here with great zeal. Hence, this trek to beautiful lake gives you the utmost lifetime beautiful experience.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Day 02 : Fly to Bhadrapur 45 minutes and scenic drive to Gangtok 4 hrs
Day 03 : Sightseeing around Gangtok with Rumtek monastery
Day 04 : Gangtok to Lachen (2700m) drive – Duration: 6 hrs
Day 05 : Start Trek Lachen to Talem (3240m) walk – Duration: 5 hrs
Day 06 : Talem to Jakthang (3430m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs
Day 07 : Rest day at Jakthang for acclimatization
Day 08 : Jakthang to Yabuk (4040m) walk – Duration: 5 hrs
Day 09 : Yabuk to Green Lake (4935m) walk – Duration: 4 hrs
Day 10 : Rest day in Green Lake 
Day 11 : Trek Green Lake to  Tallem (3240m) walk – Duration: 7 hrs
Day 12 : Tallem to Lachen walk – 4 hrs and drive to Gangtok 4.5 hrs
Day 13 : Gangtok to Bhadrapur drive – Duration: 3-4 hrs and fly back to Kathmandu 45 minutes
Day 14 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square world heritage sites by UNESCO, Swayambhunath Monkey Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square etc..
Day 15 : Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination

TREKKING GEAR LISTS:

Clothing: Warm jacket (down jacket, if possible) Water and windproof jacket alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella) Long sleeved synthetic fleece (windproof) material, if possible) Thermal underwear Hat or Cap, pair of gloves and scarf Comfortable hiking trousers (loose fitting) Shorts and trousers, or skirt 2 pairs of warm wool-blend socks, 2 pairs of running socks or liner socks, Proper hiking boots Running shoes and flip-flops 2-3 t-shirts, Underwear Light and expedition weight thermal bottom
Fleece or wool pants Waterproof (preferably breathable fabric) shell pants Camp shoes (sneakers and/or sandals) Sun Glasses.


During winter season, additional clothing’s may include:
The outer jacket should be warm, down jacket is highly recommended during winter season Bring a pair of warm winter trousers, in addition to the hiking trousers Bring at least one windproof layer of clothes, helping to reduce any chill factor influence. Snow gaiters.

Pair of polarizing sun-glasses (to be comfortable and to avoid potential snow-blindness)
