Highlights of Nepal Tour is a fun way to explore the natural and cultural splendor of Nepal. Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: One hour Mountain Flight then visit UNESCO sites.
Day 03: Drive to Bandipur from kathmandu and explore.
Day 04: Drive to Pokhara from Bandipur and explore.
Day 05: Get early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot 45 minutes.
Day 06: Flight back to Kathmandu 25 minutes from Pokhara.
Day 07: International departure.

Because, in order to provide you with a reasonable price and try to address your every need, we would like to provide you with some information. Which will help your trip.

The above itinerary is a standard guideline that AlpineTrav Treks provides you with advice and tips. And this itinerary can be modified according to your time and needs.
After our trip is confirmed, the price will be adjusted in our contract, if the customer wants to add some services, we will charge for those additional services and if he wants to reduce some services, we will reduce the fee accordingly.
Itinerary is published in standard services for clear understanding of the customer. Among many options such as hotel facilities in Kathmandu and Pokhara, the client can make own choice.

We don't add hidden extra cost. Airport to Airport service and all trips include transportation, road permit, monument entrance fee, lodging and Breakfast. There are no surprises with hidden costs.

Day 1 :

Arrive at Kathmandu (1,350m) and transfer to Hotel.

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. After completing the visa formalities and collecting your luggage at the airport, please exit the arrival hall. A representative of AlpineTrav Treks will be waiting for you outside the Arrival hall. Please look for your name placard as you exit the Arrival hall. So that you can easily find our person. and will take you to the hotel.

Day 2 :

One hour Mountain Flight then visit UNESCO sites.

Early this morning you will have a one-hour mountain-flight. From the flight, you can see 13 snow-capped mountains, including Mount Everest, and hundreds of peaks over 6,000 meters high. During the rest of your tour during today's tour, you will explore the Kathmandu Valley's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple and Swayambhunath Stupa. Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site. You will wander through a labyrinth of temples, surrounded by small temples, each with its own religious significance. Next, you will visit Swayambhunath Stupa, famous as the Monkey Temple, a religious site with Hindu and Buddhist harmony. After exploring, you will return to the hotel.

Day 3 :

Drive to Bandipur from Kathmandu and explore.

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for Bandipur village. The distance from Kathmandu to Bandipur is about 148 km, which takes about 5 hours to drive. In Bandipur, you can explore cultural temples, historical architecture, and the surrounding hills. Bandipur is a beautiful village that is a well-preserved example of a traditional Newari hill town. The village is filled with narrow streets, brick houses, wooden balconies and windows, and traditional temples and shrines. Its calm and relaxed atmosphere amidst the local chaos makes Bandipur an attractive destination. The major attractions of this destination are Thani Mai Temple, Khadga Devi Temple and Siddha Cave.

Day 4 :

Drive to Pokhara from Bandipur and explore.

Enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel and depart for Pokhara. The distance between Pokhara and Bandipur is about 76.5 km, which takes about 3 hours by car. Check in to the hotel, freshen up, and then your sightseeing begins with a visit to Davis Falls, locally known as Patle Chhango. Witness the mighty power of fall by soaking yourself in its beauty. Next, you'll explore the mysterious Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, which is a short walk from Davis Falls. You will see the artistic structure of the cave that cascades down the beautiful waterfall and cuts into the cave. Your journey continues with a visit to the Bindhyavasini Temple, a sacred temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Durga. Witness the religious significance as you watch local residents and Hindu devotees engage in various rituals. And you will be taken to Taal Barahi Temple in the middle of Phewa Lake. You have to take a boat to reach the temple. Here, you can see various rituals and pujas performed by devotees around the temple. And, after your sightseeing, you will return to the hotel. In the evening, you can explore the city on your own, relax in the lakeside atmosphere and have a delicious meal with a night view on the lake.

Day 5 :

Get early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot 45 minutes.

Early in the morning you will drive to Sarangkot for a breathtaking sunrise view over the high mountain peaks. When the mountain ranges stand golden, the rays of the sunrise in the sky will amaze you. Enjoy the serene view of the mountain rain. After taking in some views of the beautiful Himalayas and the sunrise, hike down to the Pokhara (02hrs). After day lunch, you will have a full day at leisure to experience various optional adventure activities in Pokhara. You can participate in various adventure activities like paragliding, ultralight flying, jeep flying and cycling.

Day 6 :

Flight back to Kathmandu 25 minutes from Pokhara.

After breakfast, we will go to the World Peace Stupa by car. The high mountain ranges from Manaslu to Dhaulagiri can be seen as well as the picturesque Pokhara Valley and Fewa Lake. Return to hotel and you will have to lunch, after lunch you will transfer to airport, then fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 7 :

International departure

As you enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu. In your last minute preparation our representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your scheduled flight. Have a safe journey back!!! We hope to see you again.

Trekking Just finished the Langtang and Gosainkund Trek. The guided trekking was a lifetime experience and the guides were able to satisfy the needs and wishes of the group. The organisation of alpinetrav with Ram who managed the trip did a great job and everything was well organized. I'd highly recommend alpinetrav if you're going to visit Nepal. I also did paragliding which is an awesome adventure as well! If there is a chance for another trip to Nepal I'd book my activities with alpinetrav again!

PV-Power Project in Mirge, Langtang/Gosainkund Trekking, Paragliding Pokhara Great organization! Working in Mirge definitely was fun. The villagers were super friendly by the way. Very informal atmosphere and a really fair price. We did the Langtang / Gosainkund Track with the fantastic guides Ginesh and Prem, everything went smoothly. Every question was answered and we spent some great local-wine-evenings with them. We also saw some lazy monkeys ;-) After that we were lucky and spent holi in Kathmandu. Last but not least we've been paragliding in Pokhara. Such a great time! We will be back!

Project in Mirge and Langtang Trip As some people before I make a solar project in Mirge too. It was my second time. I also was for 1,5 years before there. In both time it was a good organisation from Ram. He also makes it possible that I can come a few days after the other of the group and go earlier. Also a big praise goes on our guids (Basnet Ginesh and Brämm (I don't know if I wrote them right ;)). On our trip we have big fun with them and they led us good through the mountains. We wantet to do after the solar project the langtang valley and the Gosaikunda Trek. But at the Gosaikunda was to much snow so we must to return before it gets to much snow. They do this good always in consulation with us. Thank you very much for all this experience.

Highly customiced holiday experience in Nepal. I would not want to do this without inside management. We visited Nepal in groupe organiced by our University. Our trip was devided into two weeks of sotial aid where we installed solar panels in a mountain village called Mirge and in two weeks of induvidual trecking. My plan was to walk the Number-Chees-Surcuit solo and fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla Air Port. Ram from Alpintrav organized our hole trip. He picked us up from the Airport with a great Nepali welcome, brought us to our Hotel, organized our Transportation to and from Mirge. He checked on us often enaugh so that we felt safe at all times. Traveling in Nepal can be confusing due to horrible road conditions and overcroded streeds and because there is for me no recorgnizable strukture in the Bus sistem. So there where several situation where I was greatful to have a local at my side. For my trecking tour I did not need any gide or teehouses, only transportation. It was nice that Ram did not try to sell or convince me to book anything I had not planed to. Still he went carefully through my planned rout and could give me detailed information, for example if a campside did not have water at this time of year. Unfortinatelly I had to cancel my trip early during the first two weeks. But Ram adapted quick to my change of plan and acompined my to Kathmandu where I was his guest for one night and he brought me to the Airport the next day.

Exhilarating trek to Annapurna Base Camp A good friend of mine who did several multi-week treks in Nepal suggested Ram to me to organize our trek to the Annapurna Base Camp. I contacted him over email and every request and question were answered in a precise and timely fashion. His detailed plan included pickup at the airport, flying to Pokhara, 10-day trek itinerary, sight-seeing in and around Kathmandu and final drop-off at the airport. He organized for us an excellent team, a knowledgeable guide, and two wonderful porters. Ram was very accommodating with some of my special requests and he even reorganized our route during the trek due to a team member’s illness. He certainly is very service oriented and does everything possible to make every Nepal visit a success. I can highly recommend Ram and his company AlpineTrav.

Excellent 10 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp We were a group of 4 people who did a 10 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp in October 2019. Ram, the owner of AlpineTrav, arranged the details of our entire trip from the moment we arrived in Kathmandu until our departure. At one point, we needed to make changes to our travel plans and Ram was able to accommodate this without any issues. I would certainly recommend AlpineTrav for trekking to Annapurna Base Camp.
