Hiunchuli Peak (6441m) is one of the most famous trekking trails in the Annapurna region located near the south face of Annapurna South (7219m). The journey is embellished with magnificent views of the Himalayas offering full serene along with fantasy portraying the beautiful nature. During this trek, we pass through  the Gurung and Magar Community embracing rich cultures, traditions and unique lifestyle practices. The climbing journey initiates  from Kathmandu continuing to Pokhara leading  towards Nayapul. The trek commences as we head to Ghorepani, Poonhill to behold the splendid sunrise over the towering mountains in the Annapurna region. From the North-West Face, we will be ascending Hiunchuli. This is one of the most challenging and technical climbing in Annapurna Regions, where mountaineering skills are highly required with the awareness of using trekking gears. The trail mostly ascends through the icy rocks, glaciers and steep slopes which requires an excellent level of fitness and prior climbing experience. Beautiful views of the mountains like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV( 7525m), Annapurna south (7219m), Mt Fishtail/ Machhapuchhre (6997m), Mt. Nilgiri (7061m), Lamjung Himal (6983m), Tukuche peak (6920m) and so on can be seen from the Summit of Hiunchuli Peak. Here we head through diverse landscapes and rich bio-diversity to lead to the top of the peak providing us with an experience of a lifetime.

General Information

Passport & Visa:
You need to have a Visa to enter in Nepal while travelling. The arrival visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu where you can simply get On Arrival Visa. You must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal. You will be charged $ 25 USD for 15 days or $40 USD as visa application fees for 30 days tourist visa to the forefingers except for Chinese and India. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa).


When do you summit Peak climbing:
The best time for Peak Climbing is during autumn and Spring Season. These seasons have very ideal climate and weather for peak climbing. During the months of September to November and March to May, the weather is mostly clear with no rainfall destroying your trekking and climbing routes. Enjoying in this period Also, with the clear weather, you get the best views and best and clear view. The temperature of the region during this time is also favorable for mountain climbing and trekking.


Travel insurance:
Travel insurance is mandatory for trekkers in participating in any trekking and Peak climbing programs in the Himalayas. Getting travel insurance, especially while traveling in the mountain areas is like security on which you can rely and enjoy your trip without any worries. We highly recommend getting good compressive travel insurance that covers things like emergency helicopter rescue, medical evacuation expenses it will be assisted protection tour to cover personal injury, injury, repatriation expenses, and any kind of other illness will be covered. Having good travel insurance will not only guarantee you peace of mind while you travel with us but also provide you with complete coverage for anything things that may go wrong.
