Hot air ballooning in Pokhara is an adventure activity that can make you feel like a bird flying high in the sky. Ballooning offers beautiful views of the sunrise, the Himalayan range and peaks and the enchanting lake of Pokhara city, Pokhara is 200 km from Kathmandu and you can reach Pokhara in about 6 to 7 hours by road or take a scenic flight of 25 minutes. Then, you transfer to Dhampus or Lauruk for ballooning, and from where you will take a hot air balloon ride.
Hot air ballooning was started a long time ago but stopped midway. Now again the balloons are allowed to fly 5 times a day for adventure lovers (but initially there will be two flight in the morning and afternoon). Therefore: It will fly 500m 500 meters above the city of Pokhara and will show a panoramic view of the mountains and valleys including Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal, Pokhara Phewa Lake, forests etc. On a clear day, the observed landscape remains even breathtaking. The balloon will land on the banks of Mardi river.
