Excellent introductory peak climbing trip in Hemis National park

Climbing Kang Yatse Peak With its relatively simple and non-technical climb, Kang Yatse Peak serves as an excellent introductory peak to the Himalayas. Kang Yatse Peak can be climbed in two weeks with proper rest. Along with the Marka Valley Trek, Kang Yatse Peak within the Hemis National Park area is an excellent peak climbing holiday for beginners and people with limited time.

No prior mountaineering experience is required to climb Kang Yatse Peak. Kang Yatse Peak is relatively easy to reach compared to other trekking peaks in Ladakh. It is the perfect peak for beginners to build their mountaineering skills.

Kang Yatse Peak Climbing takes you to the wonderland of Hemis National Park, combining the beauty of nature and culture to offer you an exhilarating experience. And the beauty of the dramatic landscape, the spiritual bliss of the ancient monasteries and the integrity of the culture and lifestyle of Ladakh are sure to delight you.

Therefore, from Kang Yatse Peak Climb we trek through the remote and beautiful Markha Valley bordered by the Zanskar range on one side and the Stok range on the other. The local inhabitants live a traditional life, defined by their Buddhist religion and the seasons of their mountainous and high altitude home. Incredible landscapes and a fascinating and welcoming local culture make the Markha Valley one of the most amazing treks in the Himalaya.

Our journey through the mountains and villages of the region culminates in an ascent of 6250m Kang Yatse II climb to summit, and we descent to the Nimaling to complete rest of the journey. We trek across Kongmaru La Pass at 5250m and finally conclude the Kang Yatse trip at Shang Sumdo.
