Kathmandu Chitwan Tour - 7 Days

Kathmandu Valley it is a prime area of architecture and cultures blended together with the wide influence of Newari culture. Here the monuments in three major religious sites or cities like Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan.  Are structured in Pagoda Style. All these  three cities have a Durbar Square, which reflects an ancient history and all holding  much more important temples and sites like; Kumari Ghar, Kasthamandap Temple, Nyatapola Temple, Krishna Mandir,Bhimsen Temple, Shiva Mandir and so on. Here, is a Swayambhunath Stupa that stands at a top of hill from which the whole Kathmandu Valley can be viewed. This stupa towers over and radiates magnificence with its Buddha eyes. It holds many temples and monasteries dedicated to Gautama Buddha which is a holy site for both Hindus and Buddhists. In similar to Swayambhunath Stupa,  Boudhanath Stupa is also an important holy site for Buddhists which is  filled with Mani wheels and monasteries.

Chitwan National Park is the first National Park in Nepal established in 1973 A.D it is highly rich with a diversity of flora and fauna. It is well known for its sightseeing experience on elephant rides. This park can also be experienced via jeep, canoe riding or by foot depending upon one’s own desires. In addition, highlights of the park includes the Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhinoceros and Rock Python where due to the combined efforts of locals and the park officials,  these animals have had zero poaching for many years.

Day 1
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu and transferred to hotel

On arrival at Kathmandu, after clearing immigration and customs, step into the receiving area where you will be meet and assisted by our Airport representative and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2
Day 02 : Visit to Kathmandu, Swyambhunath, Patan and Durbar Square

Today, you will visit the cultural and historical sights in Kathmandu valley including Swoyambhunath, which is said to be over 2,000 years old and one of the world’s most fabulous Buddhists Stupas; Kathmandu Durbar Square; the temple of Kumari, the residence of living goddess with its wooden carved window and balconies; Kasthamandap, a pagoda temple believed to have been built from the timbers of a single tree by King Laxmi Narsingh Malla; Patan City is known as the ‘Town with a Thousands Roofs’. You will visit the Durbar Square, the Royal Baths, and Hiranyabarna Mahavihara Temple. Noted for its craftsman and metal workers, Patan is known as the city of artists. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3
Day03 : Visit to Bhaktapur world heritage sites

The Bhaktapur Durbar square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the city as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The golden effigies of kings perched on the top of stone monoliths, the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries, the wood carvings in every place-struts, lintels, uprights, tympanums, gateways and windows-all seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony and drive back to hotel

Day 4
Day 04 : Drive to Chitwan National Park, Sauraha

700 hrs After Breakfast – Drive process to Chitwan National Park, Sauraha.

1300 hrs Arrival : A reception will be hosted by the Naturalist, refreshment, briefing about the program and Camp.

1400 hrs Lunch at Central Dinning Hall.

1500 hrs visiting elephant stable and Tharu Village & Sunset view from bank of Rapti River.

1700 hrs Tharu Culture Program

1930 hrs Dinner and briefing the program for next day.

THARU VILLAGE TOURS: Experience the uniquely placed culture of the Tharu people. Relish what their culture is like in the Tharu village Museum in the heart of Sauraha in Bachhyauli. For centuries, the Tharus have lived very close to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world. Visit the Tharu village and share their world with them as you reach out touch another culture.

Day 05 : Full day Jungle activities

6 : 00 hrs Wake up call for morning activities.

7 : 00 hrs Breakfast at Central Dinning Hall.

7. 30 hrs Canoe ride for 30 minutes along the government authorities. River and Jungle walk. Chances to see many kinds of birds, Rhinoceros, Deer, Tiger, and many more. Before Lunch, We take a bath with Elephant at Rapti River.

13 : 00 hrs Lunch at Hall.

15 :00 hrs Elephant Back Safari through open grassland & forest on back and lookout for Rhino & other wild animal closely but safely.

Day 6
Day 06 : Bird watching and back to Kathmandu

Bird watching is another popular activity at Chitwan National Park. The national park is home to more than 500 species of birds. During the winter and early summer, the marshy area of the national park allure migratory birds from as far as Siberia. The migratory and residential birds create spectacular opportunities for bird watchers. Paradise flycatchers, Indian pitta and parakeers, water fowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, cormorants, woodpeckers, horn bills, peafowls, floricans, storks are some of the avian species found in Chitwan Natinal Park.

Day 7
Day 07 : Transfers to airport, departure on your own destination.

Chitwan is low land region of Nepal. Temperature is hot during March to November month. Not to bring heavey bag with clothes. wear light cloth suitable for hot temperature. During June july and August rainy season and suggest to bring an umbrella with you. December to February is cold temperature in Chitwan. Go there with warm clothes.
