It is a prime area of architecture and cultures blended together with the wide influence of Newari culture. Here the monuments in three major religious sites or cities like Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. are structured in Pagoda Style. All these three cities have a Durbar Square, which reflects an ancient history and all holding much more important temples and sites like; Kumari Ghar, Kasthamandap Temple, Nyatapola Temple, Krishna Mandir,Bhimsen Temple, Shiva Mandir and so on. Here, is a Swayambhunath Stupa that stands at a top of hill from which the whole Kathmandu Valley can be viewed. This stupa towers over and radiates magnificence with its Buddha eyes. It holds many temples and monasteries dedicated to Gautama Buddha which is an holy site for both Hindus and Buddhists. In similar to Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa is also an important holy site for Buddhists which is filled with Mani wheels and monasteries.
Pashupatinath Temple is a major Hindu temple situated at the bank of Bagmati River which is dedicated to lord Shiva. It is famous for its Shiva linga and shrines with other temples including Panch Deval; Five Temples, Bachhareshwari Temple and Ram Temple.
Lumbini: This is a birth place of Gautama Buddha that has been an ultimate renowned travel destination for both Buddhists and Hindus pilgrims alike. As Lumbini is wellknown for the root of Buddhism, here a Maya Devi Temple is also a major attraction that lies beside the sacred Pushkarni Pond. Similarly next to the temple, there stands a large pillar known as Ashoka Pillar which is a gift of Emperor Ashoka ; a holy shrine with inscriptions of Buddhism. Here other additional notable sites include the World Peace Pagoda, Lumbini Crane Sanctuary and monasteries built through various international foundations highlighting their own respective architectural designs.
Outline Itinerary (Kathmandu Lumbini Tour)
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Today the day will enjoy sightseeing and explore Kathmandu. We visit, Durbar Square and the temples around its premise. In the afternoon we will visit Swayambhunath
Pashupatinath and Boudhanath Temple.
Day 03 : Visit Bhaktapur, Changunarayan and Patan
On this day we visit both Bhaktapur and Patan. We explore both Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Square then go for sightseeing temples and monuments. These include the Golden Temple and Changunarayan Temple etc.
Day 04 : Flight from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa
After breakfast in your Hotel, Drive to domestic airport of Kathmandu and Fly to Bhairahawa airport which takes 25 minutes and the first section tour is by local tuktuk (Rickshaw) and after lunch is relaxation.
Day 05 : After breakfast; Visit major places with our guide, Lumbini garden. Maya Devi
Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Bodi Tree, Holy Pond, Peace Flam, Monasteries zone build by different countries and world peace stupa.
Day 06 : Fly back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel
Passing all the way through the striking countryside early in the morning and we return back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu you will be transferred to the hotel and rest of the day rest or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Final departur.
