Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu Airport

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal. After completing visa formalities and collecting your luggage at the airport, please exit the arrivals hall. Your tour guide will be waiting for you just outside the arrivals hall and will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. You will then have time to explore the hotel and familiarize yourself with the surroundings.

Day 02 :

Full Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Today will be a full day Kathmandu tour; in which you will explore various UNESCO sites in Kathmandu. There are a total of 10 UNESCO sites in Nepal and you will find seven UNESCO sites in the Kathmandu Valley alone within a distance of 20 kilometers. Then you will start the tour with a visit to the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal, Pashupatinath. You will witness the Hindu cremation ceremony at Aryaghat located on the banks of the Bagmati River. And you will also visit Boudhnath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. Also, during the visit to Boudhnath, you can get a glimpse of the rich Tibetan culture. Similarly, you will end the day’s tour with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old royal residence of Nepal.

Day 03 :

Visit in Patan and Bhaktapur and sunset views from Nagarkot

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Patan Durbar Square is rich in ancient art and architecture. You can also visit Bhaktapur, an incomparable city with an authentic local lifestyle preserved for centuries, set apart from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. While in the city square, you can admire the Nyata-Pola Temple, the Golden Gate, water fountains and the 55-windowed Durbar that offers visitors a magical outdoor theater atmosphere. You will also indulge in authentic delicacies of the locals of Bhaktapur. Then you will drive to Nagarkot, a village famous for its Himalayan sunrise and sunset views, and enjoy the spectacular sunset views amidst the Himalayas. Spend the night in Nagarkot.

Day 04 :

Fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia National Park

Early in the morning, you can enjoy the amazing views of the sunrise amidst the Himalayas. After breakfast, you drive to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and fly to Nepalgunj, located in western Nepal. From here, you drive to Bardiya National Park and check-in to your resort. After lunch, you will visit an authentic Tharu village. The Tharu are considered the original inhabitants of the local forest area. You will also visit the Bardiya National Park Visitor Center and its crocodile farm. You will spend the night in Bardiya National Park.

Day 05 :

Full Day Bardia National Park Activities

After breakfast, you will embark on a trek through the steamy forests of Bardiya with a nature guide and porter. The dense forests are teeming with wildlife, including the majestic Asian elephant, one-horned rhinoceros, spotted deer, hog deer, barking deer, sambar, swamp deer, blackbuck, wild boar, royal Bengal tiger, elusive leopard, golden jackal, striped hyena, and many more. You will have the opportunity to watch incredible wildlife pass by from the comfort of towers (machan) located at various points throughout the forest. Your experienced guide will help you track wildlife as you explore the lush surroundings. Later, you will return to your resort for a delicious dinner and participate in a traditional Tharu dance. You will spend the night in the national park.

Day 06 :

Full Day Bardia National Park Activities

After breakfast, you will proceed to Chisapani for a wildlife discovery tour on a safari float. A trained guide will accompany you as you cruise along the banks of the Karnali River, where there is no fast-moving traffic. The sub-tropical landscape and wildlife along the way provide a breathtaking experience. You may catch a glimpse of wildlife quenching their thirst in the river, including the endangered Gharial crocodile, marsh crocodile, and Gangetic dolphin. The trip is also great for bird watching, as Bardiya National Park is home to an abundance of resident and migratory birds. In the evening, you will enjoy a Tharu cultural dance performance before spending the night in the national park.

Day 07 :

Drive to Nepalgunj, fly to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will set off on an exciting jeep safari through the rugged terrain of Bardiya National Park. A jeep safari offers a more exciting and adventurous way to explore the wild than a traditional elephant safari. You will be accompanied by a trained naturalist who will help you spot and identify a variety of wildlife, including the one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, spotted deer, and wild boar. A jeep safari also offers a more immersive experience, allowing you to get up close to the wildlife and observe their natural behavior. After the safari, you will return to Nepalgunj and fly to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.

Day 08 :

International Departure
