Kwangde Peak climbing (6011m.) is a renowned trekking peak in Khumbu valley region. It is also known as kwangde Ri and kongde Ri. It is to the southwest area of Namche village the gateway to Everest. kwangde peak stands above the Bhote koshi River a famous river. The northern part of the mountain forms an impressive barrier having several steep ridges to the North. kwangde peak is a technical and challenging trekking peak in the Everest region.
The peak is bordered to the west by plummeting glaciers of Karyolung, Numbur, Khartang at an altitude of 6,187m, which it is hardly ever visited by the mountaineers. Particularly the routes on the North Face are challenging and reflect latest developments in minor Himalayan climbing, with a stress on technical complexity and a high scale of assurance. The first climb of Kwangde peak was done by a Japanese Team in 1978. The summit extends across the Kwangde, from Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Nuptse, Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Baruntse, Tashi Peak, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru; exploring Thame village and Namche Bazaar and several villages. Spring and Autumn are the best seasons to make the trek more memorable. The trail takes you all the way through the Khumbu region passing through beautiful rhododendron forests, famous monasteries, yak pasture lands, beautiful mountains, and rugged topography towards the Namche Bazzar. Kongde Peak is located just above this famous Sherpa village Namche which is known as the gateway to the Khumbu.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
Day 02 : Fly to Lukla and yhen trek to phakding, 3 hours
Day 03 : Trek to Lumding kharka, 4-5 hours
Day 04 : Trek to pokhari camp, 4/30 hours
Day 05 : Trek to Kwangde Base camp, 4 hours
Day 06 : Climb to kwangde High camp, 3/30 hours
Day 07 : Summit kwangde peak and back to high camp
Day 08 : Back to Base camp
Day 09 : Back toward Thame village
Day 10 : Rest in Thame
Day 11 : Trek to Namche Bazaar, 5 hours
Day 12 : Trek to Phakding, 3/30 hours
Day 13 : Trek to Lukla, 3 hours
Day 14 : Fly back to Kathmandu, 35 minutes
Day 15 : Free day for personal activities or recreations at Kathmandu.
Day 16 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
