Lobuche Peak includes two different summits, East (6119m.) and West (6145m.)You will get a great chance to have close views of Lhotse Face, Everest, Ama Dablam and many other 6000m peaks in the Khumbu Valley. The massive Lobuche East peak stands at 6119m. The Lobuche East Peak has been first climbed by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyaljen Sherpa in 1984.
Lobuche East Peak offers a range of existing routes. The Lobuche East peak rewards you with the views of the mighty Mt. Everest as well as you will witness several peaks of the Rongbuk region of the Tibet. The gloomy triangle of its rocky east part sets down to the moraines of Khumbu Glaciers to a pleasing skyline. Mt. Everest, Mt. Thamserku, Khumbu Glacier, Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu; different community with large number of Sherpa and splendid Himalayan landscapes can be explored.
Departure from Kathmandu, after a 35 minutes flight through the spectacular Himalayan range you will land in the historic village of Lukla. Our trek to Lobuche begins from Lukla. You will pass through several historic villages including Namche Bazzar, the famous ancient trading post between Nepal and Tibet, Tengboche; a home to a significant Buddhist monastery. A trek up to Gorak Shep at (5,110m.) is great for acclimatization, or a trek to the satellite peak of Kalapattar at (5,545m.) is another great option and has classic views of Mt. Everest. Adventure begins right after the ones, you will walk back to Lobuche and trek to the Lobuche East Base Camp which is situated at 5200m. We will allow oneday for acclimatization here again before we begin the short climbing period.

General Information

Passport & Visa:
You need to have a Visa to enter in Nepal while travelling. The arrival visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu where you can simply get On Arrival Visa. You must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal. You will be charged $ 25 USD for 15 days or $40 USD as visa application fees for 30 days tourist visa to the forefingers except for Chinese and India. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa).


When do you summit Peak climbing:
The best time for Peak Climbing is during autumn and Spring Season. These seasons have very ideal climate and weather for peak climbing. During the months of September to November and March to May, the weather is mostly clear with no rainfall destroying your trekking and climbing routes. Enjoying in this period Also, with the clear weather, you get the best views and best and clear view. The temperature of the region during this time is also favorable for mountain climbing and trekking.


Travel insurance:
Travel insurance is mandatory for trekkers in participating in any trekking and Peak climbing programs in the Himalayas. Getting travel insurance, especially while traveling in the mountain areas is like security on which you can rely and enjoy your trip without any worries. We highly recommend getting good compressive travel insurance that covers things like emergency helicopter rescue, medical evacuation expenses it will be assisted protection tour to cover personal injury, injury, repatriation expenses, and any kind of other illness will be covered. Having good travel insurance will not only guarantee you peace of mind while you travel with us but also provide you with complete coverage for anything things that may go wrong.
