Lower Khumbu Pikey Peak Trek is an exciting and popular trekking site which takes you to the stunning village where culturally rich ethnic groups like Sherpa, Tamang, Rai etc. settle in the lower part of Everest region. While passing this village, you will be surprised with their unique cultures, traditions and lifestyles. Local greenery is the main attraction to the visitors. Passing through the lush green forests, you can have a close look over the wildlife here. When you reach to Pike Peak, you will see panoramic view of Khumbu Himal including Everest, and Rolwaling Himal range.
Pikey Peak (4068m) is one of the easiest peaks in Nepal which does not require heavy equipment or technical experience to climb. Pike Peak Trek is also known as “High Solo Trekking” where you can visit the less traveled part of the Solukhumbu-Everest region of Nepal. The main highlight of the trek is a sunrise to Pike Peak, 4068m, one of the tallest hills of Solu, to see the incredible panorama which includes four of the highest mountains in the world Mt. Everest, 8848m, Mt. Kanchanjanga, 8598m Mt. Lostse, 8586m and Mt. Makalu, 8475m, as well as countless Peaks. Pike is grassy hill where Yaks and Naks graze in summer. You will meet endless mule-trains laden with large sacks lumber. The bells on their necks echo into the valleys. With an amazing experience of all these adventures from Phaplu, our trek ends at Shivalya.


Outline Itinerary (Lower Khumbu Pikey Peak Trek)
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
Day 02 : Early morning drive to Phaplu (2,600m ) 7-8 hrs, overnight at lodge.
Day 03 : Trek to Loding Khola ( 2160 m), 4-5 hrs, overnight at homestay.
Day 04 : Trek to Pikey Bhanjyang (3520 m), 3-4 hrs, teahouse.
Day 05 : Early morning excursion to Pikey Peak (4068 m). Himalayan range views from Pike andcontinue to Goli Gumbo (2980m),5-6 hrs.
Day 06 : Trek to Bhandar (2190m), 6 hrs. Overnight at lodge.
Day 07 : Trek to Shivalaya (1770m), 5 hrs. Overnight at lodge.
Day 08 : Drive from Shivalaya to Kathmandu, 6-7 hrs, overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
