Day 01 :

Arrive in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. After completing visa formalities and collecting your luggage at the airport, please exit the arrival hall. Your tour leader will be waiting for you just outside the arrival hall and will take you to hotel in Kathmandu. Please look for a placard with your name on it at the exit of the arrival hall. Then depending on the time, you will have time to walk around the hotel and familiarize yourself near hotel.

Day 02 :

Exploration of Kathmandu and trip briefing

Today is a full-day Kathmandu tour; in which you will explore various UNESCO sites in Kathmandu. We will start our tour with a visit to Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal. We will witness the Hindu cremation ceremony at Aryaghat, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. And we will visit Boudhanath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. We can see the rich Tibetan culture at Boudhanath. Similarly, we will end the day’s tour by visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old royal residence of Nepal.

Day 03 :

Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu & explore

After our breakfast in Kathmandu, we board a twenty-five minute flight from Kathmandu Airport to Pokhara. During the flight, the views from your window seat will give you a mesmerizing view of the majestic Manaslu and the snow-capped Annapurna mountain range. When we reach our hotel, and freshen up, we will get acquainted with our surroundings. We can go for a stroll at Phewa Lake and even take a few boat rides. We can also visit David’s Falls and Shanti Stupa. The City of Lakes – Pokhara is a wonderful city to explore. Where we stay at Temple Tree Resort and Spa Pokhara.

Day 04 :

Drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and Trek to Birethanti

Today our trek begins with a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. After breakfast, we set off on a 2-hour drive to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. Our trek begins from here, following a ridgeline at the lower foot of Annapurna, which takes us to our lodge in the Modi River Valley. After 2 hours, we arrive at Birethanti, our first night. The lodge offers stunning views of Machhapuchhre Mountain, also known as Machhapuchhre. Where we staynight.

Day 05 :

Trek to Ghandruk from Birethanti

After our breakfast at the lodge, we begin our second day of trekking through beautiful farmlands and villages. Today’s trek to Ghandruk is filled with breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre and Gangapurna. The trek takes us to the picturesque hamlet of Ghandruk. The village welcomes visitors with its traditional architecture and magnificent mountain views. We can explore its cultural charm and appreciate the warmth of local hospitality.

Day 06 :

Trek to Landruk from Ghandruk

After breakfast we begin our trek to Landruk, a village offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Landruk is located on the opposite side of the Modi River from Ghandruk, which means today’s hike involves descending, crossing a suspension bridge and making your way to our lodge in Landruk. Situated halfway up the mountain, our lodge for tonight consists of a crescent of green and white terraced bungalows, reflecting the classic Nepali architectural style.

Day 07 :

Trek to Majgaon from Landruk

Accommodation: LOur trek today is planned to take us from Landruk to Majgaon, passing through villages and farmlands with the backdrop of the Annapurna Mountains. After an easy 4-5 hour trek today, we will arrive at our lodge in Majgaon. Experience the local culture and relax in a luxurious lodge.

Day 08 :

Trek to Dhampus from Majgaon

After breakfast, we begin our adventure today with a trek to Dhampus via Pothana and Tanchok. While staying around Dhampus, we will get to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges.

Day 09 :

Trek to Phedi from Dhampus and Drive to Pokhara

Today we will descend through lush green hills and terraced farmlands to the drive point. As our trek reaches its final point, we bid farewell to the trekking trails and return to Pokhara. Where we will return to Temple Tree Resort and reflect on your Annapurna trek. Guests can take this opportunity to exchange memories of the trek and enjoy the tranquility of Pokhara.

Day 10 :

Fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara

As per our flight timings, we will depart from Pokhara hotel and drive to the airport. The distance from Pokhara hotel to the airport is approximately 20 minutes and our check-in time will be 1 hour before the flight time. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our will be transferred to our hotel.

Day 11 :

International departure, or join alternative activities

After breakfast and on our last day in Kathmandu, our vehicle and escorts will be ready to take you to the international airport three hours before your scheduled flight. How difficult is the Luxury Annapurna Trek?

Duration for treks of this grade stretches up to two (2) weeks. Trails generally go above 2000 meters and on a daily basis, you can expect to be walking for about 4 – 6 hrs. The perfect setting for an introduction to moderate & challenging trekking in Nepal. Is slightly harder than leisure and involves occasional difficult days. Expect ups and downs as well for there will be hills to climb as well.

What is the best time to trek to Luxury Annapurna?

The best time to trek to Luxury Annapurna Trek is during the Autumn (from September to the end of December) and Spring (March to the end of May). Temperatures will drop as you ascend higher every day. The nights are cold (between 5 to 10 Degrees Celsius) and the days are sunny and hot (between 15C to 20C). Mornings are usually clear, with clouds building up in the afternoon and disappearing at night.

Do I need travel insurance?

We advise all our clients to get travel insurance that covers up emergency evacuation that may be needed in case of the occurrence of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) or any other reasons in high altitudes where there are no other means of transportation available. It is advisable to review carefully the insurance and its coverages before making the final decision. Carry proof of your insurance with you on the holiday and you must ensure that your insurance provides an adequate level of protection and covers you for the activities involved. You will be led by our highly experienced and dedicated Luxury Annapurna Trekking guides, who have years of experience having visited Luxury Annapurna Trek multiple times. All of our guides are full-time employees, not freelancers, and are local experts fluent in English. They have extensive knowledge of the mountain, its people, culture, health, hygiene, and most importantly, your safety.

Will I have to carry my own stuff?

You will only carry your day pack which will contain the essentials you will need during the trek (water, camera, extra fleece, rain jacket, sunscreen, snacks, valuables, etc.). The rest of your luggage will be carried by a porter. We provide 1 porter for every 2 participants.

Is my trip departure guaranteed?

Absolutely! Under normal circumstances, our booked trips are guaranteed to operate. Even if other hikers cancel theirs, you will still be able to continue your hike. We are a customizable company, so feel free to contact us to help you with your travel decisions. Unless there are circumstances beyond our control such as political unrest, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics or weather disasters, our trips are 100% guaranteed to operate.
