Hence, the Luxury Everest View Trek is a completely guided seven-day trek with luxurious accommodation beyond anything. In Kathmandu, your accommodation will be at the Hyatt Hotel, and on the trek, you will be accommodated in luxury lodges with king-size beds or twin beds, electric mats and blankets, and en-suite bathrooms and modern-style rooms.

Our Luxury Everest View Trek takes a short and scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes you to the entrance of the Everest region. You go to Monjo for a walk and spend the first night there. You will begin your trek to Everest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the world’s tallest national park. You will check your permit in Monzo and begin to experience the core wilderness of Mount Everest National Park. Additionally, you will find an abundance of diverse flora and fauna in the surrounding Namche.

You will reach Namche by force and then you will climb Hotel Everest and witness the beautiful villages of Everest and Khumjung. Everest View Hotel is a few hours away from Namche Bazaar. In fact, Everest View Hotel is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest hotel in the world. Everest and other peaks can be seen from all the windows of the hotel. This is a great place to have fun and stay in the beauty of the area. Then, return to Namche Market. In Namche Bazaar you will find traditional Tibetan markets, luxury restaurants, souvenir shops, Sherpa Cultural Museum, and many more. In Namche, you will stay at Hotel Namche Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar. After breakfast, a privately chartered helicopter will pick you up and fly you to Lukla, where you will spend the last night of the trek. The next day, we went to Kathmandu on a regular flight.
The trail length and daily walking hours are shorter than other regular trekking in the Everest region. Your family and friends will surely be envious of your images from this trip.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu (1350m)
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,860m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) 3/4 hrs
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 6/7 hrs
Day 04: Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) and O/N

Day 1
Arrive at Kathmandu (1350m)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and after completing the visa formalities and collecting your luggage at the airport, please exit the arrival hall. Your tour leader will wait for you outside the arrival hall and take you to your hotel. Please look for the AlpineTrav Treks & Expeditions placard when exiting the arrivals hall. And upon arrival at the hotel, welcome drinks will be served and after you freshen up, your trek leader will brief you about your journey in the evening at your hotel lobby. And your free time. Get familiar with your surroundings by taking a walk down the street.

Day 2
Fly to Lukla (2,860m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) 3/4 hrs

After breakfast, we take flight from Kathmandu to Lukla at 2860m. The airstrip, built by Sir Edmund Hillary and the Sherpas in the mid-1960s, has a flight time of about 35 minutes. After landing we will have time to explore the village while the porter team loads the trekking equipment in order. Then, we start the trek, and where we go to the main trail of Namche Bazar above Chowrikhark. We descend to Dudhkoshi river. The walk is easy and after passing the small village on the ghat it is a short walk to Phakding where we will stay for the night.

Day 3
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 6/7 hrs

Our last day of Everest trek to Lukla via Dudhkoshi river. After our descent from Namche, it is just a slow walk along the banks of the Dudh Kosi river. We have lunch on our way and we make our final ascent to the Lukla airstrip. The rest of the day is free and you can relax under the warm sun and reflect on the emotional experiences we had while hiking these massive mountains. Later we celebrate the successful completion of the Everest trek with our Sherpa guides and porters who we have come to know well and are now good friends. It is a pleasure to end this wonderful journey on a happy note. Then we fell into a blissful sleep.

Day 4
Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) and O/N

We remain at Namche for a second night to explore the area. Namche is a prosperous village, situated in a large protected hollow. After breakfast, we hike up to the Everest view hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the area.

Day 5
Day 05: Helicopter flight to Lukla (2,860m)

After breakfast today, a helicopter will pick you up from Namche and fly you to Lukla. And the rest of the day is free to explore Lukla.

Day 6
Fly to Kathmandu

We get up early in the morning, enjoy our breakfast and get ready for the arrival of our aircraft for the flight back to Katmandu. On our touchdown at the Kathmandu airport, we will be met by our office reps and transferred to your hotel.

Day 7
International, Departure

Thank you for joining us on this trek and it has been our pleasure getting to know you during this time. We hope this venture has enriched your experience with happy memories. So stay tuned. Today is the last day of the journey, saying goodbye to the trekking and the Nepal tour is ending today! No plans except to trade emails and organize photos with travel buddies. If you have more time you can go shopping in the tourist center of Thamel where you can buy souvenirs for your family. Your AlpineTrav Treks & Expeditions representative will transfer you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight, (SAFE TRAVEL!! We hope to see you again)

Useful Info

  • Respect the privacy of local people and ask permission before photographing them or their children
  • Appreciate and respect local culture and customs
  • Always stay on the upper side of the road when crossing donkeys for your own personal safety.
  • In landslides, fields quickly cross them or climb around them if possible.
  • Smoking and drinking alcohol are not recommended at altitudes above 3000 meters
  • Drink at least three liters of water a day
  • Be aware of symptoms associated with altitude sickness and be honest with yourself and your guide about any symptoms.
  • Although not mandatory, it is always beneficial to use the invaluable services of a guide on a hike.
  • However it is always beneficial to consult with an easy or difficult guide as needed.

Please take care to note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to your safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather, the health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. Therefore, the trek leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
