The Tsum Valley trek offers a unique experience as it acquaintances with Tibetan Plateau, natural beauty and its pristine culture. The word ‘Tsum’ comes from the Tibetan word ‘Tsombo’, which means vivid. Against the majestic backdrop of the Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Baudha Himal ranges, this serene Himalayan valley is rich in ancient art, culture, and religion. Tsum Valley takes you into the majestic surroundings of the Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, and Boudha Himal ranges. The Local People are mostly of Tibetan origin and seek a unique dialect. Trails are strewn with artistic Chortens, Monasteries and lined with Mane Walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers.
The Tsum valley has a long history of Buddhism. The Buddhist saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated in the caves of mountains there. Traditionally, Tsum valley was a culturally distinct geographical area called ‘Tsum Tso Chuksum’, which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory. The ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom are still visible today. Due to its remoteness and inaccessibility, this sacred valley and its people have been bypassed by mainstream development for centuries. The lifestyle of the people in this region is a unique rural life which is different from people in other parts. As a result, the unique culture of this valley has remained intact.

Day 00 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
Day 01 : Kathmandu to Soti Khola (720m) Drive – Duration: 7 hrs.
Day 02 : Trek to Machha Khola (930m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs.
Day 03 : Trek to Jagat (1,400m) walk – Duration: 6/30 hrs.
Day 04 : Trek to Lokpa (2,100m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs.
Day 05 : Trek to Chumling (Lower Tsum – 2,361m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs.
Day 06 : Trek to Chhekampar (Upper Tsum – 3,010m) walk – Duration: 5/30 hrs.
Day 07 : Trek Rachen Gompa (3,210m) walk – Duration: 5/30 hrs.
Day 08 : Trek Mu Gompa (3,700m) walk – Duration: 5 hrs.
Day 09 : Trek to Chhekampar via Chhule Nile (3,361m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs.
Day 10 : Trek to Lokpa (2,100m) walk – Duration: 6-7 hrs.
Day 11 : Trek to Deng (1865m) walk – Duration: 6/30 hrs.
Day 12 : Trek to Ghap (2165m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs.
Day 13 : Trek to Lho (3180m) walk – Duration; 4 -5 hrs.
Day 14 : Trek to Sama Gaon (3525m) walk – Duration: 4/30 hrs.
Day 15 : Rest day at Sama Gaon for acclimatization
Day 16 : Trek to Samdo (3850m) walk – Duration: 4 hrs.
Day 17 : Trek Dharamsala High Camp (Larkya Phedi – 4460m) walk – Duration: 4 hrs.
Day 18 : Trek to Bhimthang (3590m), 5-6 hrs, after crossing Larkya La Pass (5,21m)
Day 19 : Trek to Dharapani (1860m) walk – Duration: 6 hrs.
Day 20 : Dharapani to Kathmandu drive – Duration: 8-9 hrs.
Day 00 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
