Attempt Mera Peak & Amphu Labsta Pass

Situated in the Southeast of the Everest Region, Amphu Labsta Pass is one of the challenging trekking passes in Nepal. It is an interesting and thrilling trek for mountain lovers which takes you to more wild and less visited areas in the Khumbu Valley.

Amphu Labsta Pass Trek includes a tour of historical Buddhist monasteries, close interaction with a friendly Sherpa community, the discovery of hidden beauties (flora and fauna), and the stunning views of Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m, Mt. Makalu 8485m, Mt. Everest 8848 m, Mt. Lhotse 8516 m and other numerous snow-covered peaks.

The crossing of the Amphu Labsta Pass requires the use of technical climbing equipment and trekkers must be experienced in the use of these and be prepared. Our expert trainers will guide you through each and every step and technique. The trek leads us through barren, uninhabited areas, over glaciers, rhododendron forest, and snow-covered mountain passes which will give us room to know more about this region and cultural insights.

Amphu Labsta Pass Trek is specially designed for those adventure seekers who are looking forward to trekking in a challenging and untouched trekking trail and enjoying the classic view of the high Himalayas of Nepal.

We begin our trek with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and then ascend all the way up towards the snow-covered region. The trek takes you to dramatic passes of Mera La (5,415m) and Amphu Labsta (5,845m) making a circular loop back through the Sagarmatha National Park to Lukla.

This adventure also gives us the opportunity to hike up to Mera Peak and witness the best view of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest, along with other mountains. For this camping trek, a team of porters and cooks accompany you throughout the trek and make sure your trek is comfortable.
