From the Tilicho lake to the remote corner of the Manang region, one can reach the Dhaulagiri in Jomsom in Mustang district and the country of Thakali in the Nilgiri through the high and picturesque Mesokanto-La Naka. Completing the tough trek though, where an easy downhill walk leads to the less warm zone of Tatopani and the world’s deepest Kaligandaki Gorge between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains.
