Mini Annapurna Circuit Trek – 12 Days Overview
The Mini Annapurna Circuit trek is a short and medium trekking route in the Annapurna region – popular for its insight into rural life in the region. The Mini Annapurna Circuit Trek route takes you through rivers, peaks, forests and culturally rich ethnic villages where people still practice ancient traditions. Enjoy the panoramic view of Dhaulagiri – Annapurna mountain range including Annapurna 1, 2, 3 and 4 mountains as well as Machhapuchhre Himal and Lamjung Himal. It’s the perfect escape from your mundane lifestyle yourself to a shorter version of the entire Annapurna circuit trek that can be done in less than 2 weeks. It is a moderate trek that does not rise above 3,210 meters in altitude and is suitable for people of all age groups as one can enjoy the diverse cultural diversity without facing the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
This footpath follows the Modi River through Birethanti to Poon Hill, the famous hill station of Pokhara. There, we will enjoy witnessing the sunrise over Annapurna from Poonhill before we descend to Tadapani village heading towards Jhinu Danda. En route to Annapurna Base Camp trek, there is a short stop at Jhinu Danda to enjoy a natural hot spring bath before proceeding to Landruk village. This inner Annapurna circuit trek is possible throughout the year though the trail becomes more challenging during the monsoon season. Because of the year slippery, muddy, many mosquitos and mosquitoes try to make the path inside the forest miserable, yet because the road is good, travelers flock to this trek, so come and join us for an insight into the life of the local village and enjoy the taste of the wonderful local food.
