A relatively new trek compared to other treks around Annapurna, the family-friendly Mohredanda trek is undertaken by a handful of tourists. Hence, it is considered as the best destination for those who seek solitude.

10-days Mohare Danda trek with kids goes from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then to Galeshwar village. You will slowly trek through the forest path from the Magar villages of Banskhark, Nangi and Mohre Danda (3320m). From this place you can enjoy panoramic views of nearby mountains including Annapurna South (7219 m), Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Nilgiris (7061 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m). Arrangements will be made to stay throughout the trail with homestay facilities within the community village. Then, you will turn back and descend on the road to Pokhara via Khibang, Tilkot, and Tiplyang villages. A morning walk to the World peace Pagoda offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayas in the Annapurna ranges along with the Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m). From Pokhara, you fly over the snow-clad Himalayas to arrive at Kathmandu. The trip concedes upon your return to Kathmandu. Mohare Danda Trek suits all kinds of trekkers including adults traveling with children. The beautiful and peaceful setting and easy trail offer a great time for the family traveling together. The perfect time to visit Mohare Danda remains during the months of March to May and September to November. You can choose to undertake the trek during winter as well if you can beat the chill.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu Airport [1,350m/4,430ft] and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara [827m/2,714ft], and explore
Day 3: Drive from to Galeshwor and trek to Banskharka [1526/m5007ft], 3-4 hours
Day 4: Trek from Banskharka to Nagi Village [2320m/7612ft], 5-6 hours
Day 5: Trek from Nagi village to Mohare Danda [3320m/10892ft], 5-6 hours
Day 6: Trek from Mohare Danda to Fulbari or Danda Kharka [2765m/9072ft], 5-6 hours
Day 7: Trek from Fulbari to Tikot Village [2210m/7251ft], 4-5 hours
Day 8: Trek from Tikot Village to Baseri and drive to Pokhara [827m/2,714ft], around 3-4 hours
Day 9: Morning Hike to World Peace Stupa [1,100m/3,600ft] and fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 10: International departure
