Tilicho peak climbing is one of the difficult climbing peaks in Nepal as it range to 7135m from the sea level and also located in the complicated Manang valley route. Climbing of Mt. Tilicho gives a great experience of mountain climb and exhilarating panoramic views of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Tibetan plateau and deepest valley of Kali Gandaki.

Tilicho Peak base camp is set on the lap of Tilicho Lake. Tilicho Lake is the world highest Lake situated in the Annapurna range at height of 4819m. There will be three high camp established in the approach to the summit of Peak Tilicho. Camp 1 at 5800m is located a long way away through the ridges of the mountain and Camp 2 is located at a height of approximately 6200m. Day 1
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu (1345m), transfer to Hotel.

Our representative from Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. Then you will be transferred to the hotel in the heart of Kathmandu city. Our staff will help you until the check-in procedure ends at the Hotel. You can either have a rest at the Hotel or visit NGT’s office for gathering information about the trip. In the evening, please join our welcome dinner program organized by Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition.

Day 2
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu & Climbing Preparations, hotel.

Today we will spend most of our day sightseeing around some of the world heritage sites of UNESCO inside Kathmandu valley. Most importantly we will complete all the necessary paper works and make other preparations required for Tilicho Peak Expedition.

Day 3
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani (1943m), 8-9 hrs, overnight at Guesthouse.

After breakfast, we prepare for a drive from Kathmandu along the banks of Trishuli River for couple of hours up to Dumre and then along the banks of Marsyangdi River. Our drive goes over scenic zigzag hilly roads passing through Besisahar and drive towards Dharapani.

Day 4
Day 04: Trek to Chame (2713m), 6 hrs, overnight at Guesthouse.

We depart from Dharapani, you keep on ascending the river valley passing the Gurung Village, Thonje and then reach Bagarchhap. Walking further, along the left shore, we ascend up to Manang valley passing through small settlements with terrific views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m.) and the mountains over Larkya La pass.

Day 5
Day 05: Trek to Pisang (3185m), 5 hrs, overnight at Lodge.

Today we leave Chame and follow the trail that heads west along the river banks towards Bharatang. From there, our trek goes along the banks of Marsyangdi River and then cross a suspension bridge before making a climb to reach Dhukur Pokhari. Our trail gradually opens up with magnificent snow-capped peaks around us. After an hour’s trek from Dhukur Pokhari, we will arrive at Pisang.

Day 6
Day 06: Trek to Manang (3551m), 5 hrs, overnight at Lodge.

From Pisang, there are two different trekking trails heading towards Manang. The ‘Upper route’ follows high altitude level and ‘Lower route’ follows quite lower. On the way we will visit a monastery. The Upper route offers panoramic scenery of chains of Snow Capped Himalayas than lower route. Spectacular view of Annapurna, Pisang peak and many other snowcapped peaks adds extra pleasure for today’s trekking as we head towards Manang.

Day 7
Day 07: Rest Day at Manang; Accommodation: Overnight at Lodge.

Day 8
Day 08: Trek from Manang to Khangsar (3850m), 4 hrs, overnight at guesthouse.

After breakfast, we leave Manang and follow the trail that demands elevation all the way up to Khangsar. During our trek, we are rewarded with good views of Gangapurna, Glacier Dom, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Chulu West Peak, Chulu East Peak, Chulu Far East Peak and Tilicho Peak. We will cross over the Khangsar Khola bridge to reach Khangsar village.

Day 9
Day 09: Trek from Khangsar to Tilicho Peak Base Camp (4800m), 4-5 hrs, overnight at Lodge.

Today we leave Khangsar and follow the trail that goes over through various ice lakes and glaciers to reach Tilicho Base Camp for our overnight stay. During our trek today, we have more chances of spotting wild animals such as Blue Sheep, Himalayan Thar and several species of birds. There are tea houses at Tilicho Peak Base Camp, where we will spending our overnight before climbing Tilicho Peak.

Day 10
Day 10-25: Climbing Tilicho Peak (7135m), and descend back to Base Camp.

Day 11
Day 26: Trek from Base Camp to Khangsar 4-5 hrs, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12
Day 27: Trek from Khangsar to Pisang 5-6 hrs, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 13
Day 28: Trek from Pisan to Bagarchap or dharapani 5-6 hrs, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 14
Day 29: Drive from Bagarchap or dharapani to kathmandu,via Besisahar 8-9 hrs, overnight at hotel.

Day 15
Day 30: Free day for personal activities or recreations at Kathmandu.

Day 16
Day 31: Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
