Hence, the Nar Phu Valley Trek combined with the Annapurna Circuit allows you to experience both the isolated and uncrowded aspects of the Nepal Himalayas.

The Nar Phu Valley Trek connects Nar and Phu villages in remote areas of Manang District. A special restricted area permit is required from the Government of Nepal for trekking. Starting from our all inclusive trek Jagat, the trek enters the restricted areas of Koto, Meta, Phu, Nar and Nawal and joins the Annapurna Circuit to wind through the high mountain Thorong la Pass (5416m) and reach Jomsom. Pass in Nepal. The trek passes through many remote villages with different cultures. The trek also features the last monastery built by Lama Karma Sonam Rinpoche, Tashi Lhakhang Gompa, in Phu Valley.

The panoramic view of Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range, Gangapurna (7455 m), Tilicho Peak (7134 m), Himlung Himal (7126 m) and other mountains is another highlight of this trek. The trek passes through lush Himalayan forests of rhododendron, pine, juniper and fir and stumbles across many Buddhist monasteries, stupas and chortens along the way. The trek also includes the holy temple of Muktinath which is important for Buddhists, Hindus and Bons. This temple is a great example of religious tolerance in Nepal. Hikers will also encounter beautiful waterfalls, free-flowing streams, lush meadows, rocky hills and steep trails on the trek. The Nar Phu Valley Trek combined with the Annapurna Circuit enables trekkers to get a glimpse of the lives of the people who left behind in this remote part of the world.
