Sailung Trekking is the highest point of the trek which is located at an altitude of 3,146m. It is Non Tourist trekking area in Nepal which provides fantastic panoramic view of the Himalayan views including the Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Makalu, Rolwaling Himalaya range, Annapurna Himalayan range, Ganesh Himal etc. Sailung trek is only one trekking trail from where you will see 5 different Himalayan regions. This Trekking Trail is culturally rich where you will see the different cultures among of pahari people. Culture is interesting than other ethnic groups which you can explore in this trail. As this is non tourist trekking route of Nepal its only possible to make camping/tented trekking. As this is the peace, greenery area, autumn & spring is best suited time for trekking in Sailung. Wide lush of green forest, vegetation and rhododendrons of 5 different varieties of color flowers are the additional attractions of the area. Sailung Trekking begins at Dolakha after 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu. Sailung Trekking is to see the magnificent views of eastern part of Himalayas of Nepal and encounter with several different ethnic people and interesting experience about socio-economic situation, life style and their professions. Day 03 : Trek from Mude Bazaar to Khola Kharka (3146 m), 6 hrs

Day 05 : Trek from DhormbaGompato Gurase Bhanjyang (2300 m), 5 hrs
Day 06 : Trek from GuraseBhanjyangto Kattike deurali 6 hrs
Day 07 : Trek from kattike Deurali to Palanchok Temple (1563 m), 6 hrs
Day 08 : Drive from Palanchowk to Kathmandu (1300 m), 5 hrs

Day 1
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by the representative of AlpineTrav Treks and Expeditions and you will be shifted to your hotel.

Day 3
Day 02 : Drive from Kathmandu to Mude Bazaar (2500 m). 5 hrs, overnight local Lodge.

After taking breakfast in the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and then commence driving to Mude Bazaar; trekking starting place for Sailung. The view from the vehicle will be very beautiful where you can witness the local villages, local peoples, their living styles, the terraced farms, jungles, and rivers. Once you reach Mude. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4
Day 03 : Trek from Mude Bazaar to Khola Kharka (3146 m). 6 hrs, overnight local Lodge.

You will have your breakfast in the lodge in Mude bazaar and then commence walking to reach KholaKharka. You will walk through some villages, jungles and the bank of the streams. After continuous walking for 3 hours, you will reach Deurali, where you can have your lunch. From here, within 2 hours of pleasant walk, you will reach Dhunge. You can rest here for a while and then again continue walking for two more hours to reach Kholakharka. After reaching Kholakharka. Overnight Local lodge.

Day 5
Day 04 : Trek from KholaKharka to Dhormba Gompa (2100 m). 4 hrs, overnight local Lodge.

You will have your breakfast in the lodge and then you will commence a short hike to Sailung hill. It will take you approximately 30 minutes to reach the top of the hill; Sailung. At Sailung hill, you will witness the very mesmerizing view of the surrounding hills and the mountains. Here you will also see one beautiful Buddhist monastery. After enjoying with the chilling air at the top of the hill and enjoying the untouched scenery from the view tower, you will continue walking to reach DorambaGumba. From Sailung, it will take you exactly 3 hours to reach DorambaGumba. As you reach Doramba, you will check-in to the local lodge and for the remaining time, you can stroll around the surrounding and enjoy the beautiful environment of Doramba along with the lifestyle of local indigenous people. Overnight local lodge.

Day 6
Day 05 : Trek from DhormbaGompato Gurase Bhanjyang (2300 m). 5 hrs, overnight local Lodge.

You will wake up at the beautiful Doramba village and enjoy the morning scenes of the surroundings. After having breakfast, you will commence pleasant walking. The first part of the trek is totally downhill until reaching the bottom of the hill. From here, you will have to climb the cliff and must reach at the top to reach GuraseBhanjyang. Overnight local lodge.

Day 7
Day 06 : Trek from GuraseBhanjyangto Kattike deurali 6 hrs, overnight local Lodge.

Have your breakfast in the lodge and then a long day walking begins. You will have to walk for 6 hours to reach Kattikedeutali, which will be the stopover for tonight. Overnight Local lodge.

Day 8
Day 07 : Trek from kattike Deurali to Palanchok Temple (1563 m). 6 hrs, overnight local Lodge.

Today is the last day of walking. Similar like yesterday, you will have to walk for the whole day to reach the trekking ending place; Palanchok Temple. Palanchok is the famous Bhagwati temple where a large number of Hindu pilgrims arrive here for worshiping the goddess. Overnight Local lodge.

Day 9
Day 08 : Drive from Palanchowk to Kathmandu (1300 m). 5 hrs, overnight at hotel.

After having breakfast in the lodge, you will visit the PalanchokBhagwati temple and the surrounding places. After spending some hours, you will commence driving back to Kathmandu. Once you reach Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11
Day 09 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.

Our airport representative will shift you to the airport from the hotel for your way back to home country.

Water and windproof jacket (alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella)
