From here you will also see the Maadi khola gorge in the distance with the river slowly meandering down between the foothills. These trees, planted centuries ago, have broad leaves and branches that extend out – fusion, offering welcome shade to travelers. Around these shade trees people have built walls and Chautara, stone benches for porters to rest their loads upon as they pause during the hot, steep climbs. Many people built a Chautara’s in the name of deceased relatives. You can observe the massif views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Mt. Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, and Mt.
