SINGALILA – ROUND TREK
Sikkim is a small state in Northwest India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. It is a home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. In this region, Uttarey is the ultimate Sikkim trek. From Uttarey, follow the ancient trading trail up through agricultural fields and forests. Walk towards and along the border of Nepal and India where some of the highest mountains in the world exist. Within a couple of days on the trail, you are already walking through the high alpine meadows of Chiwa Bhanjyang. Continue further and traverse two high alpine passes, each with their own distinct perspective.
The Trail Passes through two national parks (Singalila National Park and Kanchenjunga National Park) for an epic mountain adventure. The path even traverses the famous Goecha la (5002 meters). It is the gateway to the close sight for magical land of crystal clear lakes, colorful forests, unique animals, and pristine mountain peaks for the adventure of a lifetime. The trail begins in the quaint village of Uttarey and continues to Goechala via the Singalila ridge. The Sikkim singalila Uttarey Round trek is an once-in-a-lifetime experience. You can enjoy a feeling of peace and solitude in this wilderness-like area. The best times, though, are spring (March to May) and fall (September to November).In the spring time, the colorful flowers are blooming. You’ll have views of Kanchenjanga, Talung and Kabru.


Outline Itinerary (Singalila Round Trek)
Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
Day 02 : Kathmandu – Bhadrapur by flight then transfer to Border and drive to Gantok (Sikkim) (2134 m.)
Day 03: Drive from Gangtok to Uttrarey (2000m). Overnight stay in a tent Camp
Day 04 : Trek to Chewa Bhanjyang (3060m.), 7 hrs. Overnight at stay in a tent Camp
Day 05 : Trek to Dud (3610m.), 8 hrs. Overnight at stay in a tent Camp
Day 06 : Trek to Megu (4400m.), 8 hrs. Overnight at stay in a tent Camp
Day 07 : Trek to Boktok (3700m.), 7 hrs on the way visit many lakes Lam Pokhari, Jumble Pokhari, Laxmi Pokhari. Lake near stay in a tent Camp.
Day 08 : Trek to Kokling (4657m.), 5 hrs , on the way visit Majur Pokhari. Stay in a tent Camp
Day 09 : Trek to Tigyapla (4303m.). Trek from Kokling to Tigyapla 5 hrs
Day 10 : Trek to Dzongri (4020m.). Trek from Tigyapla to Dzongri takes about 6 hrs
Day 11 : Trek to Thansing (3930m.). Trek from Dzongri to Thansing takes about 4 hrs
Day 12 : Trek to Samiti (4200 m.). Trek from Thansing to Samiti Lake takes about approx 3 hrs
Day 13 : Samiti – Goche La (4940m.), Samiti. Trek from Samiti to Gochela back to Samiti takes about 7 hrs
Day 14 : Trek to Cokchorung (3000m.). Trek from Samiti to Cokchurung takes about 3-4 hrs
Day 15 : Trek to Tshoka. Trek from Cokchoruing to Tshoka takes about 5 hrs
Day 16 : Trek to Yuksum. The trek from Tshoka to Yuksum takes about 6-7 hrs
Day 17 : Drive Yaksom to Bhadrapur and flight back to Kathmandu then transfer to hotel
Day 18 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination

How can I go to Sikkim?

Travel to Sikkim by train is possible by getting to major railway heads near Gangtok- New Jalpaiguri (188 km) and Siliguri (145 km). And another option would be taking a flight from Kathmandu via Bhadrapur to our destination. You can further board a bus or hire a taxi to reach Sikkim.
