Tharpu Chuli (5663m.), also known as Tent Peak is located in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Climbing Tharpu Chuli Peak offers an unparalleled view of the entire Annapurna Sanctuary and the wonderful circle of hanging glaciers and moraines surrounding the entire range. Amazing views of about eight summits in excess of 7000m such as Machhapuchre, Annapurna I, II, III and IV, Hiunchuli, Baraha Sikhar, Gangapurna, Khansar Kang and Tarke Kang can be viewed closely.
The trek starts from Nayapul . It follows the lush banks of the Modi Khola with plummeting cascades and high waterfalls and through the colourful Gurung villages. We can explore the culture, traditions and lifstyles of the Gurung communities. Beautiful nature, fascinating mountains views and rhododendrons, varieties of floras and faunas are the additional attractions of the place. Exploring and experiencing the Tharpu Chuli Peak Climbing along with trek, finally our trek ends at Pokhara. Then, we be back to Kathmandu. Thus, his will be no doubt a very memorable experience.

General Information

Passport & Visa:
You need to have a Visa to enter in Nepal while travelling. The arrival visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu where you can simply get On Arrival Visa. You must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal. You will be charged $ 25 USD for 15 days or $40 USD as visa application fees for 30 days tourist visa to the forefingers except for Chinese and India. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa).


When do you summit Peak climbing:
The best time for Peak Climbing is during autumn and Spring Season. These seasons have very ideal climate and weather for peak climbing. During the months of September to November and March to May, the weather is mostly clear with no rainfall destroying your trekking and climbing routes. Enjoying in this period Also, with the clear weather, you get the best views and best and clear view. The temperature of the region during this time is also favorable for mountain climbing and trekking.


Travel insurance:
Travel insurance is mandatory for trekkers in participating in any trekking and Peak climbing programs in the Himalayas. Getting travel insurance, especially while traveling in the mountain areas is like security on which you can rely and enjoy your trip without any worries.
