Throng peak (6144m) is the most popular and succeeded adventure peak climbing for those adventure lovers. It has a snow capped mountains on the left, just to the south of the Throng La. The trekking route takes you to explore the stunning mountain landscapes, delightful settlement of Gerung’s and other communities. We experience the lifestyles, cultures and traditions of the people residing here. You pass through the lush floras and faunas, colorful rhododendrons, viewing the panoramic views of Annapurna Himalayan Range. This mountain is the shortest possibility to gain a 6000m Peak while doing the famous trekking around Annapurna. Day 1
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu International airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.

The sightseeing trip will start in the morning after breakfast. The major sightseeing attractions are; Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambhunath (the Monkey temple), Boudhanath; Kathmandu durbar square. The afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for Throng peak Climbing. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3
Day 03: Drive to Khudi (792m), overnight at Guest house, 7 hrs drive.

Today we will drive to Khudi taking 7 hours. On your arrival at Dumre, you will feel the beginning of your trek. You will be driving to the Marsyangdi river valley then move to Besisahar and ultimately proceed to Khudi.

Day 4
Day 04: Trek to Bahundanda (1314 m), 4/5 hrs, overnight at Guest house.

Today the track moves north above the Marsyangdi river after crossing bridge. We will be noticing the change in bio diversity and panoramic landscape. Going across the river to its east shore you will come across the village of Bhulbhule and then moving north, our path follows passing Ngadi (930 m). We reach to the edge and see the settlement of Bahundanda (1311 m).

Day 5
Day 05: Trek to Chyamje (1400 m), 6 hrs, overnight at Guest house.

We move down to the valley floor departing from Bahundanda. After that, we cross the river, go up steeply to continue walking on a trail wonderfully engraved out to the wall of the rock.

Day 6
Day 06: Trek to Dharapani (1943 m), 5 hrs, overnight at Guest house.

You will keep on noticing changes in the landscapes, people, culture and architecture as we move ahead from Chyamje. Here, we will see people of Tibetan origin their culture; houses made of rock, less tropical plants and more.

Day 7
Day 07: Trek to Chame (2713 m), 5/6 hrs, overnight at Guest house.

Walking further, along the left shore, we ascend up to Manang valley passing through small settlements with terrific views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m.) and the mountains over Larkya La pass.

Day 8
Day 08: Trek to Pisang (3185 m), 5 hrs, overnight at Guest house.

We will come across the forests of Juniper, Pine, above fairly plane ground all the way through Bhratang village. We will witness a superb view of Annapurna II to south.

Day 9
Day 09: Trek to Manang (3540m), 4 hrs, overnight at guest house.

We take a stable way up to reach to the top and witness the view of the Manang valley. This exciting spot offers superb views of the valleys, the great peaks of Gangapurna, Tilicho Annapurna II, III, Chulu east and Pisang peak.

Day 10
Day 10: Acclimatization at Manang (day hike to Chonkor View Point 3800m, and to the monastery).

Day 11
Day 11: Trek to Yak Kharka (4000m), 4 hrs, overnight at guest house.

The track relaxingly winds up presenting views and passing through land filled with juniper bushes, the only existing vegetation around this area and then you will reach at Yak-Kharka.

Day 12
Day 12: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4500m),3.5 hrs, overnight at guest house.

From Yak Kharka, we start our trek with slow pace to reach Phedi which means ‘foot of the hill’. We still have same splendid view of peaks and landscapes.

Day 13
Day 13: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Thorong La 5416m, 5-6 hrs, tented camp.

Today we will reach Thorung la which is a famous pass and will begin the ascent early in the morning to avoid strong winds. The pass is wide making it relatively easy to walk on but the journey can get challenging due to the unpredictable weather changes and is almost impossible to pass during winter. The pass is also the world’s biggest pass and offers great views of the Annapurna massif.

Day 14
Day 14: Preparation Day.

Today we will spend here to prepare for the climb. We will be briefed by the climbing experts on the do’s and don’ts for a successful safe climb. We will explore the surrounding area with the magnificent view in anticipation of tomorrow. We also learn to use the climbing gears as we acclimatize better to the Himalayan atmosphere.

Day 15
Day 15: Summit to Thorong Peak 6145m and back to Muktinath 3760m, overnight at guest house.

We will start climbing early so that the winds won’t affect us as much. As we begin the steep climb, we will be able to see the Kali Gandaki valley. As we reach the top, we will be blessed with the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. This is a great time to rejoice on the views of the Himalayas and also a great spot for photography. From here, we will make our way down a steep cliff to the small town of Muktinath.

Day 16
Day 16: Trek to Jomsom (2800m), 4 hrs, overnight at guest house.

We visit Muktinath temple in the morning and move down to the Kaligandaki river valley. We follow the calm trail for 4 hours till we reach the large city of Jomsom and headquarter of the Mustang region with a small runway just over the Kaligandaki River.

Day 17
Day 17: Fly to Pokhara / Drive to Pokhara, overnight at hotel.

We today take a flight from deepest canyon of the world lying between two gigantic mountain range of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri with many snow-topped peaks. We will take driving down to Pokhara by bus if in case the flight delay or cancelled due to bad weather.

Day 18
Day 18: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 6-7 hours, overnight at hotel.

Day 19
Day 19: Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.
