Yala Peak (5500m) is situated in the renowned Langtang trekking area, the central section of the Nepalese Himalayas, to the north of Kathmandu . Yala Peak does not require mountaineering experience a good level of physical fitness is sufficient so, it is the additional point for the interested trekkers.
Mountain Itself is situsted just at the border between Nepal and Tibet. The summit offers fabulous views of several snow covered mountains in Nepal and Tibet like Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga, Gangchempo and the famous 8000m peak Shishapangma. To reach in Yala Peak, our destination, we leave Kathmandu and drive to Dhunche or SyabruBensi, and then trek up the valley for five days, Kyanjin Gompa (3800m) is situated at the foot of the appreciatable. Langtang Lirung (7246m) and we spend three days acclimatizing, taking day- hikes in spectacular surroundings. We explore the Langshisa glacier and then establish a high camp at 4800m from where we make our summit bid. After sunniting Yala Peak, we either return directly to Dhunche or Syabrubeshi.

General Information

Passport & Visa:
You need to have a Visa to enter in Nepal while travelling. The arrival visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu where you can simply get On Arrival Visa. You must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal. You will be charged $ 25 USD for 15 days or $40 USD as visa application fees for 30 days tourist visa to the forefingers except for Chinese and India. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa).


When do you summit Peak climbing:
The best time for Peak Climbing is during autumn and Spring Season. These seasons have very ideal climate and weather for peak climbing. During the months of September to November and March to May, the weather is mostly clear with no rainfall destroying your trekking and climbing routes. Enjoying in this period Also, with the clear weather, you get the best views and best and clear view. The temperature of the region during this time is also favorable for mountain climbing and trekking.


Travel insurance:
Travel insurance is mandatory for trekkers in participating in any trekking and Peak climbing programs in the Himalayas. Getting travel insurance, especially while traveling in the mountain areas is like security on which you can rely and enjoy your trip without any worries. We highly recommend getting good compressive travel insurance that covers things like emergency helicopter rescue, medical evacuation expenses it will be assisted protection tour to cover personal injury, injury, repatriation expenses, and any kind of other illness will be covered.
