Yala Peak (5500m) is situated in the renowned Langtang trekking area, the central section of the Nepalese Himalayas, to the north of Kathmandu . Yala Peak does not require mountaineering experience a good level of physical fitness is sufficient so, it is the additional point for the interested trekkers.
Mountain Itself is situsted just at the border between Nepal and Tibet. The summit offers fabulous views of several snow covered mountains in Nepal and Tibet like Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga, Gangchempo and the famous 8000m peak Shishapangma. To reach in Yala Peak, our destination, we leave Kathmandu and drive to Dhunche or SyabruBensi, and then trek up the valley for five days, Kyanjin Gompa (3800m) is situated at the foot of the appreciatable. Langtang Lirung (7246m) and we spend three days acclimatizing, taking day- hikes in spectacular surroundings. We explore the Langshisa glacier and then establish a high camp at 4800m from where we make our summit bid. After sunniting Yala Peak, we either return directly to Dhunche or Syabrubeshi.

Day 1
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name-card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by the private vehicle. Small meeting about the trip in the evening.

Day 2
Day 02 : Trek preparation & Kathmandu valley sightseeing

After your breakfast you will be introduced to the trekking guides and helpers. And the Kathmandu sightseeing beings with visit to various UNESCO enlisted cultural Heritage sites including medieval Palaces in Kathmandu-Bhaktapur-Lalitpur Durbar squares. Other sites are Pashupatinath Temple, Baudhanath and Swayambhunath Stupa.In the evenining you will walk along the Thamel streets which is a good place to buy trekking equipment.

Day 3
Day 03 : Drive to Sybru Bensi (1462m), 6 hrs

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi which takes about nine hours by bus or Land cruiser depending on group size. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli river you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills.

Day 4
Day 04 : Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m), 5 hours

Today is the first day of treking, the first part of the trail follows the Langtang River and enters into the lush rhododendron forest. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m), through Bamboo (1960m), which lies at the bank of Langtang River. This is a good option to have to your lunch. And, at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel.

Day 5
Day 05 : Trek to Langtang Village (3307m), 5 hours

The Trail follows Gumanechok, Ghoda Tabela. After this the trail is slightly gradual and beautiful in the valley with the sights of grazing Yaks. Langtang village is one of the very local and old villages along this trekking route and the view from here is more spectacular as we get closer to mountain.

Day 6
Day 06 : Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3798m) 4 hours

After our breakfast in Langtang village, we endure a short trekking hours and reach Kyanjin Gompa.This place has an ancient Buddhist Monastary and a cheese factory nearby. After our Lunch, you can explore around the Kyanjin Gompa etc..

Day 7
Day 07 : Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4,940m), 6-7 hours

After our early morning breakfast we head to Yala peak base camp. The ascend goes through the pastures and finally some rocky trail.

Day 8
Day 08 : Reserve day at Base Camp

This is the reserve day or might be called as acclimatisation day. We make our final preperations to conquer Yala Peak. Our guides will provide the necessary trainings on handling fixed ropes and crampons, and various other technical instructions.

Day 9
Day 09 : Climb to Yala Peak Summit (5,500m)

Early morning Climb to Yala Peak summit 5,500m Back to Kyangjing Gumpa 8/9 hours.

Yes, it’s time to conquer the summit of Yala Peak. In the early morning we follow our dream. enjoy the marvellous view of Mt. Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, shispangma and various other snow capped giants. Finally we ascend down and reach Kyanjing Gompa.

Day 10
Day 10 : Trek back to Lama Hotel (2500m) 5.30 hours

After our early breakfast in Kyanjing Gompa, we ascend down to Lamahotel.

Day 11
Day 11 : Trek to Sybru Bensi (1462m) 5 hours

Today, leaving the mountains behind you descent to Sybru Bensi.

Day 12
Day 12 : Drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle. 6 hours

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu from Sybru Bensi which will take some 6 hours. overnight at hotel.

Day 13
Day 13 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination

The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
