Once you’ve confirmed your booking, we’ll ask you to provide the following documents for trekking Nepal:

Flight Details

We need international flight arrival and departure details to arrange your airport transfer. When you arrive in Kathmandu, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it.

Passport Details for Trekking Permits

Where possible, we will arrange your trekking permits before you arrive in Nepal.

Annapurna Region – A scanned copy of each trekker’s passport details page and a high-quality scanned photo of each trekker.
Sagarmatha Region – A scanned copy of each trekker’s passport details page.
Langtang Region – A scanned copy of each trekker’s passport details page.
Makalu Area – A scanned copy of each trekker’s passport details page.
Manaslu Region – We need your original passports to obtain your trekking permits for the restricted area of ​​Manaslu. Please also bring two passport photos of each trekker for your permits.
Kanchenjunga Area – We need your original passports to obtain your trekking permits for the restricted area of ​​Manaslu. Please also bring two passport photos of each trekker for your permits.
Upper Mustang Area– We need your original passports to obtain your trekking permits for the restricted area of ​​Upper Mustang. Please also bring two passport photos of each hiker for your permits.
Upper Dolpo Area – We need your original passports to obtain your trekking permits for the restricted area of ​​Upper Dolpo. Please also bring two passport photos of each hiker for your permits.

We will need to build a day into your itinerary to wait for your permits to be processed. We usually plan to visit Kathmandu so that you can enjoy some of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites while you wait!

We require these documents at least 1 month before you arrive in Nepal. This gives us time to reserve your hotel, transportation, domestic flights, and arrange your trekking permits.

Trekker Emergency Information Form

We urge every trekker to fill out this Booking Form before leaving home. It is important for us to have this information on file so that we can take action quickly and easily in the event of an emergency.

Travel Insurance Certificate

Although it is not mandatory, we strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance for your trip. You can email us a copy of your certificate, or include the details on your Hiker Emergency Information Form.

Nepal visa can be obtained upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport (Tribhuvan International Airport) or you can obtain a Nepal visa before arrival through the Nepali embassies, diplomatic missions and consulates nearest to your location. Nepal visas are also issued at entry points if you are entering Nepal by land. (All foreign visitors to Nepal must have a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months beyond their planned departure date):

Visa Fees: Nepal visa fees are listed below as per the duration.

USD 30 for a 15-day multiple-entry visa
USD 50 for a 30-day multiple-entry visa
USD 125 for a 90-day multiple-entry visa

Note: It is always advisable to verify visa requirements when booking your travel. Visa requirements may vary depending on where you are from and it is recommended to also check transit country requirements.
