Chitwan Jungle safari 2N/3 days Half-day sightseeing of Kathmandu’s highlights Suitable for any age group UNESCO Heritage Sites
Located in south-central Nepal, the UNESCO Heritage site of Chitwan National Park is extended over 932 sq. km. of an area. Chitwan can easily be reached by 5 hrs of drive or 25 minutes of flight from Kathmandu. Chitwan- the heart of the jungle provides shelter to several species of amphibians, reptiles, mammals like langur, rhesus monkeys, boar, and leopard, and more than 400 species of colorful birds. We will visit the Elephant Breeding Center where we can feed elephants. We will stay in a jungle resort and wake up with the sound of cuckoo cawing. Our Visit to Chitwan is a unique experience that introduces you to a different climate and ecology than that of Kathmandu.
We can explore the jungle of Chitwan by elephant back riding or 4WD Jeep Safari or Canoeing or we can also arrange for a nature walk. Most of our guests prefer elephant back riding as it allows you the advantage of height so that you can get wildlife views in the far distance while you can also pass close to the rhinoceros from a safe height. Canoe rides will take place at Rapti River which is located on the western side of the National park.
