Manaslu Expedition – 45 Days

Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world. It lies in the Mansiri Himal located in west central part of Nepal.It is a very large peak with an elevation of 8,156m. Manaslu offers several routes to mountaineer as it has favorable topography of long ridges and glacial valleys. There are six established trek routes to the peak and on the mountain; the south face is reportedly the most difficult for climbing.


Outline Itinerary (Manaslu Expedition)

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel by our representative.
Day 02 – 3 : Preparation, Briefings, Last minute shopping and formalities.
Day 04 : Drive to Soti Khola (700 m), overnight at guest house.
Day 05 : Trek to Machha Khola (950 m), overnight at guest house.
Day 06 : Trek to Jagat (1450 m), overnight at guest house.
Day 07 : Trek to Deng (1850 m), overnight at guest house.
Day 08 : Trek to Namrung (2500 m), overnight at guest house.
Day 09 : Trek to Shyala (3400 m), overnight at guest house.
Day 10 : Trek to Sama Gaun (3500 m), via visiting Pungyen Gompa and glacier, overnight at guest house.
Day 11 : Trek to Manaslu Base camp, overnight at tented camp
Day 12 – 39 : Climbing Period…..
Day 40 : Back to Sama Gaon, overnight at guest house.
Day 41 – 42 : Return through same trail to Soti Khola, overnight at guest house.
Day 43 : Drive to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.
Day 44 : Free day for personal activities or recreations at Kathmandu.
Day 45 : Transfer to airport, departure to your own destination.


Note: We would like to inform and assure you that we always follow the itinerary program but we might have to compel to change the itinerary due to bad weather, route condition and in any other unexpected situation compel in the field. Day 1

Price Includes:

  • Airport picks up and drops off, upon arrival and departure in Kathmandu
  • 3 night’s accommodation at hotel in Kathmandu on twin sharing basis with breakfast
  • Kathmandu – Soti Khola – Kathmandu by private Vehicle and all your luggage to Base camp and back
