Sikim:

Situated in the Eastern Himalayas, the beautiful state of Sikkim is nestled between Nepal to the west and Bhutan to the east, Tibet to the north and the state of West Bengal to the south. With an area of ​​7,300 sq km, it is 115 km from north to south and 65 km long. From east to west, it ranges from 244 m to over 8550 m above sea level, with an approximate latitude of 27 degrees north and longitude of 88 degrees east. This small state belies its rich culture, customs, heritage, flora and fauna. Sikkim, once a protectorate of India with a monarchical government, was converted into the 22nd state of the Indian Union in 1975. The population of the state is only 4,20,000 as per the latest census. Amidst the grandeur of mountain peaks, verdant valleys with waterfalls and fast-flowing rivers, beautiful monasteries and terraced hills, Sikkim offers its visitors a rare and exotic experience.

Nestled in the grandeur and beauty of the snow-capped mountain range of Kanchenjunga. Sikkim and Darjeeling are blessed with beautiful natural scenery. It is surrounded by lush green tea gardens and has the highest railway station in the world. The Darjeeling ‘Toy Train’ is part of the world’s cultural heritage. Also known as the “Queen of the Eastern Hills”, Darjeeling was the summer capital of India during the British period. A holiday resort from the Victorian era, it still exudes grandeur, charm and splendor. One of the best sunrise views in the world can be had from “Tiger Hill”.

Ladakh:

Ladakh is one of the most popular trekking destination in the North parts of the India and the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Ladakh derived from the Tibetan words “LA – Tags”. Which means La = pass & Tags = Mountains, So this state is called the land of passes and Mountains. Ladakh is inhabited by the people called “Bot – pa”, who speak Tibetan language. As a religion they are mostly Buddhism. Ladakh is also known as dream of adventure and the people who search for peace and solitude. The landscapes and the Geographical view seems like Upper Mustang in Nepal. It is bounded by two Mountains which are called the Great Himalayan range and the Karakorum.
